COSTCO's latest ad:

$1,299.00

Suddenly Starbucks doesn't seem so pricey!

I believe the brand name is onomatopoeia for the sound you make when you see the price.

Sunday afternoon greetings!  We got back from Lima a couple of hours ago and I just "got back" from finishing the nap I'd started in the car.

MattH, I know you were being helpful and it's much appreciated.  If you or anyone has any other ideas about where to look, I'd sure love to hear them.

Went out and had a sandwich for lunch - I've made four pages of notes this morning of things I wish to cover in what we hope will be my next book.

I'm home from what was a great vacation!  Sundee and I had a fabulous time at Taliesin yesterday.  It was cold and we had to bundle up, but we hung in there for the whole 4 hour tour. Including over 1 1/2 hours outside.  It was definitely worth every penny. The tour guide was one of the best I've ever seen.

It was also great to get to spend so much time with my nephew, Adam and great nephew Gabe.  Gabe was just a delight.

I'm glad I drove Mom and Dad out there. we all had a good time. It took me from 8:00 AM to 3:30 Pm to get home.  (including lunch and dropping off mom and dad).  It's been a long day.  The girls were very happy to see me and all seems well here

BK, I am very excited about you picking the subject of Book Ten.  Have you figured out, yet, how many volumes it will take to cover elmore's fantasy sex life?

"It is a beautiful day in the neighborhood........"

Yesterday, I attended an excellent performance of THE MOUSETRAP, followed by far too much food at the local Fat Farm.

At the moment, the Seattle Seahawks are leading Jacksonville 41 to 0 in the 4th quarter.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Well, think I'll go find some food.   I do have lots of cheese, apples, apple cider and onions from the trip.   Some from an apple orchard, cheese....well it is Wisconsin...and onions from an Amish farm

I was really concerned about that last rush by Michigan.  They had a real chance to win it down to the second to the last play

Even though I'd rather see Michigan win, losing a close game is OK.  Just so they don't make a habit of it.  The team we're really watching around here is the University of Cincinnati - their 6'7" quarterback is amazing - Go Bearcats!

Maybe it got stuck to something else she washed.  Maybe it was never washed (could it be in a hamper). Maybe she thought they looked comfortable. :)

I don't know that she would necessarily know where they are unless she put them somewhere else. I would just look around the places she might have put down the laundry. Maybe it fell off the pile.

DR TD, I have to admit that I was unable to get through that naked ERCOLE opera. I didn't find the guy playing Ercole to be very appealing, so the whole naked actor aspect was not as enjoyable as I had thought it would be....and most of the male characters sounded like women.

I will stick with Steve Reeves and Mark Forest movies, I guess.

I went into it expecting a more 'serious' take on myths and legends, and instead I got what I found to be a delightful opera buffa.  I really like Vivaldi as a composer, so the music was merrier and more mirthful than I had expected.
Also, I liked the tenors and certainly one of would have been quite an eyeful as Ercole.
But, as they say, "Different strokes" and "That's what makes horse-racing."
Today, in between Boyzone tunes, I have been listening to the Ercole recording.
