Finished about two-thirds of the new liner notes - may try to finish them later tonight.

There was also A CHRISTMAS CAROL shown for a few years during the 70's that was beautifully animated:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8817517652455175582#

I wish this was available on DVD.

I think this is it on VHS at Amazon.com

A Christmas Carol

Thanks for finding that, DR Ron.  But you forgot how cheap I am.

LOL.  You could make the money back by making DVD-Rs and selling them to Hainsie/Kimlets for $5 each, plus postage.

Great idea, Ron!

DR GINNY - I think we had a girl like that in Indy as well....on Channel 4.

Frances had her poisoned.  ;)

Speaking of which, I've been getting some really fascinating PM's from a FB FF fan who evidently got a private tour of Western State.  Western State has a room devoted to Frances!  I never knew that--I guess I should call them and see if I can drop by sometime.

Oh, they will let you drop in, it is the leaving that could be a problem!

Hopefully, CRY FOR US ALL will also be in my home mailbox.

I had my copy sent to my work and it's not here, yet.  Hopefully, tomorrow for me.

Back from a really nice lunch with a lot of interesting conversation, which could benefit Kritzerland in nice ways over the next few months.

Holy moley on rye am I glad I didn't go to The Hollywood Show on Sunday.  Apparently Mr. Cassidy was a disaster - abusive, surly, unwilling to sign anything but the photos on his table, no shaking hands, no photos with fans, and he left after fifty minutes saying he didn't feel well.  He threatened the owners of the show (who'd stupidly given him a guarantee - if he was there three hours he'd be guaranteed a certain amount of money - these new owners are fools - Ray Courts never did that and never would - it's not what his show was about), and apparently the other celebs were rather appalled by his behavior.

:o How rude of Mr. Cassidy!

He obviously didn't read (and take inspiration from) the section, "Meeting Mr. Weede" in the liner notes of the new Kritzerland release, Cry For Us All. ;)

Good evening...

Somewhat quiet tonight...

Just discovered I have two student workers with the flu and they were diagnosed with swine... Oh goodie... So far ... so good!

Got some interesting shows watched tonight. I began by skimming through today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. Luke was on for a few seconds, but this love triangle (which may turn into a love quadrangle) is certainly tedious.

ONE LIFE TO LIVE wasn't much better with an idiot suspect pushing Officer Fish down on a table to escape and then suggesting HE was going to sue him! Ridiculous. By the time we got to the end of the episode, Fish had taken about all the abuse he could stand and snapped. Good for him!

Then I went back to HD On Demand and watched Sunday's telecast of THREE RIVERS. Once again, I enjoyed the show for the cast and the cases. It appeared we got a new cast regular, a cute/nerdy guy who's sort of an administrative assistant who earned scorn in the early going but saved the day by the end of the hour. I hope we see more of him. Definitely an appealing addition to the company.

Next, I finished the MEDIUM episode I had gotten halfway through and then watched three more episodes. Really love those episodes from the first season.

My favorite, the one where she lets the defense attorney know not to mess with her, ranks among the great classic MEDIUM episodes of the entire five year +  run.

I concluded the evening with tonight's NCIS episode. It was a flashback episode concerning Ziva's months away from the unit when she had rejoined her father. Not one of my favorite episodes but glad to have her status finally confirmed.

I forgot about the animated Star Trek!  I used to watch that and I even bought the series on DVD.

So far this is not proving to be a healthy month at the library for student workers...

1 case of seasonal flu
2 cases of H1N1
Mono
and a broken wrist....

bk - The next time you're in NYC, and you have a hankering for an old-fashioned Hot Fudge Sundae, may I suggest you head out to Forest Hill (Queens) and grab a seat at the counter of Eddie's Sweet Shop.  I ordered a two-scoop sundae - one scoop each of Coffee Chip and Raspberry - and it was truly was just a great ice cream sundae.  And the hot fudge is a proper hot fudge!  The "scooper" even made sure to line the cup with some hot fudge before scooping the ice cream on top. -And, of course, more hot fudge was drizzled over the top after the ice cream was in place.  Just the right amount of "melt", and since the sundae cup is served on a metal dish, it's very easy to spoon off the hot fudge that has run down the side of the glass and into the dish which has thickened as it was chilled by the ice cream.  It was the perfect way to "warm up" on this chilly night. ;)
