Although, there's also a "Lazy Bones" by (Robin) Thicke. Hmm...I meant it to be humorous "Sung to the tune of"And Mr. Armstrong sang it of course.I didn''t remember that hoagy carmichael did the music thiugh

Quote from: JRand59 on October 25, 2009, 08:53:28 AMWow - I finally found an affordable copy of the original London cast of Bye Bye Birdie....Chita Rivera and Peter Marshall...with Marty Wilde as Conrad. I love the orchestrations and the slightly different vocals....except of course the guy who plays Harry McAfee....I've had it for a while. If I had known you wanted it, I'd have made you a copy LONG ago.

I'm surprised no one has posted anything of this little thing today. Whether we like him or not, we shouldn't want anything bad to happen to anyone.
Good morning. That is all. So far. Except I fear there will be a train wreck of sorts at church today.
I am very hungry. Time for dinner!
A friend on Facebook just sent me the performance of FINIAN'S RAINBOW on Oct 9, 2009, so I now have a file of the Act Two Finale I scored before it was cut. I am very happy to have it.
Well, my exciting weekend continues apace. Last night, the pleasure of hearing my music done by two virtuosos, and today I have received an email from an L.A. producer who's in a production company with an Oscar winning actor on whom I believe DS Betsy may have just an itsy bitsy crush. He is interested in developing a new FF feature and they want me to help. Is Venus in Uranus or something like that?
It's amazing what mentioning one little Oscar winning actor whose producing partner emailed me can do for the general state of one's marital bliss.
DR Ginny it's too bad that you're having problems getting up your stairs. It would have been nice for you guys to have been able to come and go more often!

It was another cold cloudy and damp day today. A cold summer followed by a cold fall. It will be interesting to see what winter brings. It didn't rain today, but looked like it could at any minute. This morning, I managed to clearn out the eaves on the garage and as much on the house as I could reach from the garage roof. Then it was lunch with Paul at Panera and back home for what started to be a lazy afternoon and ended up with a mostly clean garage and all the outside furniture etc put in the garage for the winter. Most of my neighbors have already put everything away. It's just been too lousy to think about being outside.
