Well, you've read the notes, the notes finally achieved pith, and now it is time for you to post until the pithy cows come home.

Tonight, I'm going to Seattle see BK's close and personal friend, Stephen Sondheim in conversation with Frank Rich!  I have to leave work a little early to get up there in time, but it starts at 8:00 pm, so I don't have to leave too early.  I wish I had a tiny video camera to covertly film the evening ;) ...but I don't. :P

If they do like they did in Portland, Oregon (last year when I had a ticket but couldn't go...I gave the ticket to a friend), we can write questions on cards and Sondheim answer some of them.  What should I ask??

I cannot get used to our calendar - I thought Jed's birthday was tomorrow!  I'll go add it to the notes.

Good morning, all! I feel better today than yesterday, but i'm still feeling groggy and not quite awake. This morning I have another trek to Toyland, and later in the day my first round of physical therapy on my left shoulder.

DR Jose, I was invited to the Loesser event several weeks ago and I turned them down in case I had any emergency work on FR. I was also feeling rather poorly at that time from the shoulder pains. I wish it well, and I think I'll send the conductor Brad a "break a leg" note. I believe Ashley Brown is doing my chart for "I Wish I Didn't Love You So," which I did for Linda Lavin in 1998 for the Wall-to-Wall Loesser at Symphony Space. Hopefully tonight's event will take some of the bad taste of the last GUYS & DOLLS revival away.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Birthday to DR Jed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TOD: Can't think of a single thing at the moment; all my Sondheim letters and signed editions are at the Miami U Library now. Beats me.

I would love to have a letter from Mr Sondheim!  I do have a question for him.  Do you think he would answer it if I wrote to him?

He used to be good about answering every letter (in the late 70's/early 80's).   I don't know if that is still the case.

I know that Jose wrote to him at one point and received a response IIRC. Isn't that true Mr. Jose?

DR JRand I totally disagree with what you wrote about posting the ending to shows that eliminate someone without giving anyone a head's up.

Maybe you knew DR Mbarnum would not care. But there are other people who watch too. And i think it's up to each person to decide if they want to be spoiled.

Tonight instead of showing HOUSE Fox is having a special episode to highlight the top 20 on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE.

I'm curious to see how much of vegas they will show. If they do this show right (and don't just have the contestants dance) then i think it could be a great way to highlight dancers we've never seen.

Tomorrow is the first performance show (2 hours). My sis said she read in her tv that there will be no voting and that at the end of the show the judges will just eliminate 2 contestants. Not sure if this is true. But it could be an interesting way to do things to accomodate baseball on wednesday.
