A cold front is making Arizona unusually cold (for October). It was 39 overnight, which is December weather.

It will warm up to the high 80s this weekend, they say.

The one I wanted to see but didn't for 40 years was THE MAGIC SWORD.

I'll bet you saw it earlier than that.   Just in a different context.

Dream on, Alice. I've got my own Wonderland.

DR Elmore, I cannot believe that you have not see ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE. I must remedy that.

I have seen it and I still cannot fathom your fascination with that film. There are so many levels of dreadful to it.

It was my pleasure, DR Matt H. Now let's discuss DR DAW's big opening.

I must head downstairs now to get cleaned up. Lunch is still a few hours away, but I might be able to squeeze in I CONFESS before going to lunch since it's going to be a later lunch today.

Not really an Ask BK, more of a suggestion to BK:  I think I mentioned this a few days when I was in the midst of reviewing THE PRISONER, but pull out that 5th bonus disc, the SD-DVD, and listen to the completely different themes written by the different composers (one of them Robert Farnon, which I still find rather unbelievable).  Farnon's theme is quasi-Elmer Bernstein in Magnificent Seven mode (Ionian, LOL).

I have a new(ish) computer at work and it seems to be working much better than the old one except for a quirk with the time. On Sunday it followed the rest of the world (not the U.S.) and reverted to Standard Time. Nothing I do will keep it at the correct time so I went into Time Zones and changed from Eastern to Atlantic. That seemed to work but again today the time changed on its own. Well I glanced down at the task bar and saw that it was 11:30 and I thought "hmm, I'll go to lunch early" instead of glancing at my watch to see the correct time. I came into the apartment and Anthony said "you're home early. Lunch isn't ready" Well, I was there an hour early. I have to talk to tech people. I know I have Service Pack 3 for Windows XP and no one else's computer here at the office has changed over. I don't know what's going on unless someone is trying to gaslight me!

I haven't used IE for quite sometime, and now I remember why.  I re-installed FIREFOX and now it seems to be working.

Strange internet doings today.

Today I really should try to get reviews done of NATURAL BORN KILLERS, RICHARD BANGS IN MOROCCO, and, yes, the one you've all been waiting for, HD MOODS:  FIRE.  Luckily I have already taken my screenshots from the MOROCCO title, so that cuts down on what I have to accomplish.

Yes, what is the "Holy Grail"?

If the Holy Grail is the soundtrack to a BIG film, I will be surprised.

I had to buy a new desk chair today.  My old chair which I purchased at the Goodwill store about 3 years ago, wanted to decide on its own when it would go up and down.  But since I only paid $9.99 for it, I decided to get a new one.

Wal Mart had some nice ones....I spent $69 + tax!  Whew.  I hadn't seen one at Goodwill for the last month or so.

I put it together in 35 minutes......and put my old one out at the street.  It only took 10 minutes for someone to decide they wanted it.....it was gone.

Today should be a fun day: I get to call ministers from all over our district and nag them to turn in the paperwork.

Because the other times I called them hasn't worked.

Thursday morning greetings!  Today I'm feeling the effects of our 6 days in NYC, so I'm going to take it easy.  Richard and I finally acknowledged that this recent trip was especially exhausting because we chose not to climb the stairs between daytime and evening activities.  We really missed that late afternoon respite.

Hoping you find this linked YouTube video entertaining. Please pass the link on to any Food Network fans if you do.

It's to the tune of "So Much Better" from Legally Blonde, and it's called "So Much Butter" -

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZnWq9Vi1ww

The "butter" aspect is about the "friction" between Paula Deen and Barbara Walters, when Paula Deen was on THE VIEW several weeks back, and Barbara Walters made some surprising comments about Paula Deen contributing to childhood obesity.

Jose, I know we were saying the other night over dessert that the event itself on THE VIEW really wasn't much of anything - but searching on google seems to show that it really did get blown up in the innernet press, so it seems very ripe for making fun of it WITHOUT (I hope) anyone really taking offense.

Hope my take on it  makes you laugh if you have time to watch.

Is there a convenient way to discern who belongs to which festivity?
