I know there our fans of Michelle Nicastro here.

I thought I pass on an update she posted on facebook

An update: turns out that I do have cancer in the fluid surrounding my brain. I start radiation this morning, and hopefully, will feel better in the next coming weeks. Thank you more than mere words can say for all of your support and prayers that you all have passed on to me. I am forever grateful. With so much love, michelle

Good Evening!

Well... I walked around a bit... And then I started feeling like I should head back to my apartment... But it was nice to get some fresh air.  -As well as a flourless chocolate-walnut cookie from the Street Sweets Truck. :)

I have just emailed Countdown requesting that they "ambush interview" Bill O'Reilly, as O'Reilly is so fond of doing to others.  I had several suggested questions, including "What *is* the difference between falafel and loofah?," and "Can we see your Peabody?" (not a euphemism).  ;)

Yuck!  The thought of Bill O'Reilly even having a Peabody grosses me out!

I was just looking over Michelle's album credits.  Don't think I ever realized she had Walt Fowler on one of her albums.  The Fowler Brothers are SLC boys, went to my high school, and their father was the Dean of the School of Music at the U of U.

XM is getting to be a bit of an expensive luxury--on Chill the other day I heard a really cool remix of a tune and ended up springing for the complete Hotel de Costes collection.  Then yesterday on Spa I heard a cool group called Mediaeval Baebes, and I just ordered all of their CDs.

I agree. Just listening to The Jonathan Schwartz program on XM Radio has cost me a small fortune

Speaking of XM radio, twice today Seth Rudetsky referred to tonight as opening night for Finian's Dream.  It probably has something to do with his dreams about Cheyenne!

If any DRs have ever wondered what some of the choreographers from "So You Think You Can Dance?" do when they're not in the TV studio, you may want to check out: The Pulse.  -They may be coming to a city near you!

I'm soooo tired - I wish I hadn't booked Parade this evening, I'd much rather just sit on my couch like so much fish.  Ah, well.  And once I'm through with addressing packages, I don't think I have much planned for the weekend.

I recieved my cruise documents this week.  This is my first cruise in seven years, so it was kind of a shock to have all the documents delivered by e-mail.  I used to love to get the whole packet of plane tickets and ship tickets and shore excursions; and go through them one by one.  The e-mail version is not nearly as exciting, but I guess it saved the life of a tree.

Since I booked my own hotel reservation in Rome, at one third the price the cruise line would have charged me for the same hotel; the cruise line will not allow me to buy a space on their transfer bus from the hotel to the ship.  So, today my travel agent booked me a separate transfer, at a cost of $175.00 U.S.!!!
