Well, maybe I blocked it out too. However, I actually do remember the curtain call since the finale at the time featured a whole slew of characters from "future" Anne Rice, "Lestat" books. Due to the lavishness and size of those costumes, the characters had to stay on stage. -Which, of course, ended up confusing the audience - myself included - even more since "we" were applauding characters/actors that had not appeared earlier in the show. -But those costumes did make for a nice lobby display in the Time-Warner Center once the show came into NYC.

Carlos. -Which, I believe is from my mother's side of the family in some way or another.

When I was in grade school, my mom preferred that I sign my name as "J. Carlos" since there were "too many Jose's", and that "Jose" made me seem "Spanish". -And "Carlos" is less Spanish? I still remember never really knowing how to fill out those standardized test forms - the ones with all the circle. -Was my first name "J." or was it "J. Carlos"? I finally rebelled sometime in 4th or 5th grade, and started signing my name as "Jose". Although, "Jojo" has always been my "home name" since my Dad is also "Jose" - but we have a different middle name, so I'm not a "Jr.".

I didn't no like Parade - I hated it a decade ago. I still don't love it, but this production at least makes a much better case for the show and score.

Had a lovelier than lovely luncheon with Mr. Jason Graae, and Cason is here and we've almost finished addressing a huge number of packages, then he'll stick the postage on them and that will be done. Then we're going to put Brent up on amazon and CD Baby and in due course, iTunes.

When I went through my Confirmation in the third grade, I took on the adopted name of Patrick. I sort of misunderstood the purpose of the name and began to insert it into my full name, calling myself Daniel John Patrick. That seemed to be a lot for my schoolmates to wrap their mouths around, so I shortened it to Daniel J. P. I signed all my school work and any other documents that way up until I was in my late 20s. I stopped doing it when someone advised that it probably turned off potential employers.

But as pretentious as it was, it was generally a good conversation starter. And I liked it when friends began calling me "JP" in high school and college.

True. and I shouldn't have put it that way. One of Tommy Tune's strengths as a choreographer is taking something you might have see hundreds of times before and making it seem new and exciting (and in this case, just plain fun, too!)
