Is "Devil's Night" vandalism a concern for anyone?

Yeah - TP is too expensive to waste on neighbors.

;D

Not a concern here, in fact we don't even have Halloween out here.  This year I didn't put out decorations or even purchase a few gords.  I complained to Keith he didn't even thank me for not decorating.

I went to Michael Jackson's This Is It this afternoon.  I loved it!  That would have been an incredible concert, wow.

So, can someone tell me if it is considered gauche to eat in a noodle shop in the Italian style - i.e., twirling the noodles on your fork?   Just curious.

What other way is there?  That's the way that I eat the chow mein at Panda Express. :D

I don't know.  I've never been to a noodle shop.  And if I ever do, I don't want to be gauche.  [I save that just for HHW]

re: the computer problems.

My brother-in-law suggested to reboot and then click on "safe mode" and after it spouts out the big letters to restart. i don't think this will work but i will try it.

Thanks DR RonP for including the spoiler warning re: project runway. i think we are 2 or 3 weeks behind (not sure why they do this but they always do). I really appreciate it.

It's pretty funny but my niece who just turned 4 loves this show. She doesn't really watch anything but cartoons. But about a month ago my sis let her watch the runway part (since she likes to walk runway down the hall).

The next week she was staying over on a saturday (it plays here on saturdays) and i asked my sis if she could watch. She said okay. And my niece could actually remember most of their names.

And she likes to find out who is in and who is out (she even says it like heidi). The next 2 weeks she watched again and remembered many of the names. She even has a favorite designer (who is terrible IMO but she likes him).

DR DAW - you of course use a spoon.  You spoon the noodles onto a piece of bread, add ketchup, and eat it as noodle sandwich.

UGLY BETTY is a great looking show, and the cast is ALL doing the SAME show!  I think it is even better this year.

That video was cute, DR Jane!   I've seen those gadgets in the supermarket.

If we had a cat I would go in search of the bowl.

While I was hiking today I was thinking how much I miss having a cat to snuggle with, and how nice that Sherlock is such a snuggly boy to help ease that feeling.  On the whole cats are simply more cuddly & will do it for hours, & as a bonus they serenade you with their sweet purrs.  I don't miss the itchy swollen eyes all that snuggling gave me.
