Through a Bernese Mountain Dog friend, a gal from Pennsylvania who now lives in the Netherlands, I have two new Facebook friends from other countries.  The problem, I'm not always sure what they are saying. ;D

Someone please translate: bon de dees trekt naar dromenland :-))))

An artificial fruit from Fresno?

I did not know that DR TCB was from Fresno!

And I'm sure that someone somewhere will find something to complain about.  In addition to the CD booklet liner notes, I'm also going to write additional notes that will only be available online (and will be available for download) - I'll call them Anatomy Of A CD and I'm going to talk about the process of this particular album from start to finish and why I made the decisions I did about the source music and keeping everything on one CD.

That's great, bk.  And I know it will be an interesting read.  But you are right:  there will still be those who will only complain.        :(

No one ever accused me of having any reason!   Or raison d'être, either!       :)

Is that anything like "acrilic raison"?

LOL!

Thanks.  I should have put a laughing face behind my question.  I can't translate everything on this person's page.  He/she (guessing it is a he name, really can't be sure) has an advantage over me with speaking 2 languages.  Other Facebook friends from different countries write in English, and then only have scattered conversations in their home country language.  I wasn't expecting someone to invite me to be a friend without asking if I could speak/read their language. ;D

BK, do you ever go see shows at the Orange County Pavillion?  I just found out that my freind, Shanna Palmer (who played Annie Oakley in the production of ANNIE GET YOUR GUN in which I played Buffalo Bill; has just been cast as Peter in their production of PETER PAN in December.

And it was basically a somewhat straight-forward rendition. Very quick. And not auto-tuned.

She is a very talented girl, and she is just the right size to play Peter.

When I did the show, Fly by Foy refused to fly Captain Hook (don't ask me why).

Thanks.  I wonder if naar is near.   Do you know what language this is?  The person doesn't say where in the world he is from.  I do have a general idea from the sound of the sentence.

One of the very pleasant surprises from Wednesday's Beer Dinner:

Humboldt Fog is a goat milk cheese made by Cypress Grove Chevre, of Arcata, California, in Humboldt County. It is named for the local ocean fog which rolls in from Humboldt Bay.

Humboldt Fog is a mold-ripened cheese with a central line of edible ash much like Morbier. The cheese ripens starting with the bloomy mold exterior, resulting in a core of fresh goat cheese surrounded by a runny shell. As the cheese matures, more of the originally crumbly core is converted to a soft-ripened texture. The bloomy mold and ash rind are edible but fairly tasteless. The cheese is creamy, light, and mildly acidic with a stronger flavor near the rind.
