Mad Men was excellent this evening - top-notch in every department. I think everyone knew since the show was heading towards the end of 1963 that the assassination would be part of at least one of the episodes. The way in which it was introduced was very clever. The director of this episode was film director Barbet Schroeder. We were finally back at Sterling Cooper for a good portion of the show, which was nice, and Peggy had a little more to do, and Pete was back, too. Last show of the season next week - it will be very interesting to see where they leave Don and Betty, and how they leave several other plot strands.
