I don't. I had to make the choice several years ago: paycable channels (HBO, Showtime, Starz) or Netflix. I chose the former.

I watched THREE RIVERS on HD On Demand. I enjoyed the episode (got to see what's going on with Andy's marriage), but this is the first one that didn't have be dissolving into tears by the end. There was a gay patient this week, and that story could have used some enrichment.

I watched CASTLE while I ate lunch. I guessed the murderer very early, but I did enjoy some of the dialog between Castle and Beckett early in the episode as he was "fathering" his daughter. Funny give and take between these two.

I spent a good chunk of the afternoon watching the second Blu-ray disc in the MONSTERS INC. set. It's not very well organized though the featurettes were very interesting. There's also a new Blu-ray exclusive game that was fun.

I then scanned through today's ONE LIFE TO LIVE. More good stuff with Kyle and Fish though they weren't touchy-feely enough for me. Too much talk/too little action. After all these pent-up emotions, I think they would have spent the night and morning doing something other than talking on a rooftop.

Still, they have to start anew someplace.

Here is a photo from the production of GLORIOUS that I did in January.  It was the story of one of DR Laura's favortie singers, Florence Foster Jenkins.

DR George is probably the only person who will recognize both actors in the photo; however, BK should take note of the gentleman on my right.  He will be the director of THE BRAIN FROM PLANET X in Olympia next Spring.

I'll see BK's rant and raise him a tantrum department:  So I am madly rushing around this morning trying to get errands done before a gig, among them getting my hair cut.  I come out of the barber shop to find some cretin in a Ford Expedition SUV has parked her massive vehicle less than inch away from my driver's side door (and, no, I'm not exaggerating as any of the witnesses would attest).   So I start at the logical place in this particular stripmall--the Starbucks.  I go in, and as politely as possible loudly ask, "Does anyone own a black Ford Expedition--you're blocking my car."  No one responds.  So I then spend the next 10 minutes going door to door in the stripmall with no success.  By then a crowd of Starbucks people had gathered outside all of them decrying how rude this driver must be to park so carelessly.  And then of course the punchline--out of the Starbucks waltzes a woman with her double half-caf latte in hand and sidles up to her Ford Expedition at which point I incredulously ask her if she:  a) cannot see how close she parked, making it literally impossible for me to get in my car; and b) did not hear me stop the sound of commerce at Starbucks with my appeal for the owner of the Ford Expedition to move their car?  She looks at me like it's *my* problem she blocked my car (which, obviously, it was) and then pulls away without so much as an apology.   Her license was BASCRZ.  Mike, can you hack the ODOT database for me?
