I'm going to have to dig out a photo of our dog Sugar, may she rest in peace. I think of her every time Kerry mentions his Sugar.   She was such a good dog

Jake the dog was not elected to the city council, however he did get 60 votes.  I am pleased that the only incumbant on the ballot lost.

I'm pleasantly surprised Jake the Dog's voes were counted & publicized.

Well, there was a publicized write in campaign by the Weekender, our local free paper.  The hats, pins etc they sold went to helping the anumals at Animal Control.

Cute :)

My friend needs votes for the best blurb book contest.  She could win a nice bit of money.  Please check it out and if you like what you see, vote for her.

She is also the friend who made this photo for us.

I gotta say after watching the Mercer documentary that Clint Eastwood's daughter should keep her mouth shut.

Watched the Mercer doc, at least most of it (did they mention Frances during "I'm an Old Cowhand" maychance--missed that part).  Edi, don't know how it devolved from your version, but I found it very enjoyable.  Managed to see Greg in the credits, didn't see you, but boy was that font miniscule!!

Frances was in the background clapping during the COWHAND sequence but she was not referenced.

I only got as far as Keely Smith in a really hideous dress and had to turn it off.....didn't quite get the point of view....and it started off on the wrong foot with Eastwood's daughter screeching through that song.....

I guess Grant is not happening tonight - this is the fourth time I've cleared my schedule based on what he's told me can happen - he didn't even call.  I've had it and just wrote him a very strong e-mail.  I told him that if he can't find the time to stop wasting MY time and hire a damn engineer to come over to his place and I'll finish it with that guy.  I have five people who've been waiting patiently for this demo and the longer it takes to get it to them the more it's going to impact whether I have the funding to do the reading in February.  Enough already.

Just for the record.  I did not vote for Jake the Dog for city council   I took the vote seriously so we could get rid of the absurd ordinance that put Jake the dog on death row

I know, I'm so lucky.  Unless it is foggy I see that view several times a week.  DR MBarnum, do you remember hiking it with DD Bosco?

I was pleased I got so much written after I got cleaned up. I was only planning on doing a little, and I ended up doing the entire top part of the review.
