I had not heard about this. Although they were making the same claims re: the Calgary Flames.

It's probably big news in toronto.

Yes - it was all that the talk radio hosts [that the bus drivers were playing] could talk about!!

A nice surprise arrived for me today in the mail: The Blu-ray of NORTH BY NORTHWEST. And since I'm doing a very easy to do disc tomorrow for my work project, I should be able to watch this tomorrow. Can't wait!

I got finished with the ZORRO special features. In the second set, there's a lovely tribute to Guy WIlliams, but it should have been three times longer than it was.

Leonard Maltin and Guy Williams Jr. also looked at the original Zorro costume, a Diego costume, and a couple of other costumes from the series. There was also a table filled with Zorro merchandise. Very interesting.

Of course, the two hour-long ZORRO episodes in the second set had great star power.

Annette starred in the first one as a completely different character than the one she played in the second season. She also sings two songs in the hour-long show, one with Henry Calvin and a solo.

The second one had Ricardo Montalban and Ross Martin as the guest star bandits. Very enjoyable ZORRO outing, the last ever produced by Disney. Such a shame.

Then I watched tonight's BONES.

It was a very good mystery and some wonderfully loving moments between Booth and Tempi. Also, I saw this coming a mile away: Angela and the intern.

Oh wow, I just found out my friend's cousin's daughter died from H1N1.  She was a bout 30. Had no underlying health problems and 2 little kids. Very shocking and sad

I enjoyed tonight's GREY'S ANATOMY, too.

Some good cases, but I DESPISE that Mercy West doctor making a play for Alec. They've been building up to it for the last couple of weeks, but he'd have to be a total dunce not to see what she wants.

I hadn't logged off yet. I remembered I also had time to watch some stuff on the DVR before BONES came on.

MODERN FAMILY last night was a SCREAM. I was laughing from beginning to end, one of the show's strongest episodes.

I had two days of AS THE WORLD TURNS, and the boys were in both episodes. Pretty good even though we know the triangle love story was quashed and won't be continuing. Still, it's nice to see the boys acting ANYTHING for a change.

Keep your eyes peeled for the typo in the documentary.  I still can't believe they let it slip by.

I'm now the proud owner of a Magic Mouse.  The Sherman Oaks store was out of them (they're the worst Apple Store ever), and I got the last one at The Grove.  I got it home and got it "paired" but none of the scrolling functions would work and I couldn't even get the screen in preferences to allow me to set it up.  I then read the little mini-instruction booklet and it said to check for software updates, so I did and there was indeed and update for the wireless mouse.  I did it, restarted, and then started over again and this time everything worked like a charm, I set my preferences and this thing works like a dream.

I think I'll go check out the quality of the It's A Wonderful Life Blu-Ray and the Alastair Sim A Christmas Carol Blu-Ray.

This Magic Mouse is magical.  Scrolling is soooo easy, and clicking anywhere on the mouse is fun and the two-finger thing that takes you back to your last page is also amusing.

When I worked in Hollywood, the owner had his own building built with a bank vault to lock everything up at night.   You could go in there, close the door, and scream at the top of your lungs.   The employees did that quite often.

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's cousin's daughter, Cillaliz. So many people are minimizing this flu, but it really does scare me.
