As for the Topic of the Day...Hmmm...My parents were somewhat protective of me and my brothers when we were growing up, however, they did like to go to the movies - and take us along when possible. They also really liked going to drive-ins. Sometimes the double-features were family-friendly, and sometimes they were not. For example, I seem to remember a double-feature of "Jaws" and "Orca". And I guess even seeing "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" was kind of shocking to me at age nine.

Since they were sick as babies and surgery lowers their resistance to things, they want to be careful. The other two weren't nearly as sick.
