Can't sleep.

Pretty soon, I'm giving up and heading over to DR Julie's.         :)

Good Evening!

...I'm back from another culinary adventure at M&T at Flushing.  Tonight's featured dish was "Mutton with Spicy Peppers" - which turned out to be seasoned with a generous amount of cumin seeds too.  It was sooooooo good!

As for the Topic of the Day...

The "Hallelujah Chorus" as sung by The Roches.

Cool!  I remember watching this when it was originally on TV!  I had a tape recorder that I stuck under the TV speaker and recorded it onto a cassette tape.  I think that I might still have that tape...somewhere.

I have it on a rock/pop acappella CD - whose name I can't remember right now.  It's a pretty cool collection - even includes a Todd Rundgren collection.  I was thinking it was included on the soundtrack to Spike Lee's Do It A Cappella, but it's not.

OK - It's late. I'm sleepy.

Goodnight.

I'm sort of hungry - haven't eaten anything since my egg salad sandwich and cake slice.  Maybe some soup would be nice.

I watched THE MAD GHOUL. It was fun. George Zucco is such a wonderful character actor, I must say.

I have always loved this publicity shot from THE MAD GHOUL, even though there is no scene even remotely like this in the film.
