I don't think I ever saw an episode of Twilight Zone. I once saw an episode of The Outer Limits about some sea monster, and it scared me to death.

That's the floop Kerry ate, so I left out most of the beets.

*Disclaimer:*

For purposes of accuracy, I don't think that Maarja is actually a Facebook floozy.   It just made better copy.

Thanks for the vibes. Even though it sucks to have a bad cold, I feel much worse for others who have it worse.

My sister's friend (who is sick with H1N1 symptoms) took her 1 1/2 year old to the hospital yesterday. She has asthma. so she ends up going to the hospital for most things. Poor kid.

I don't really know how they are gathering the H1N1 numbers, since they say it is too expensive to test people.

They had the kid hooked up to breathing machines for 1 1/2 hours before the doc came. So by then the kid was doing much better. They say to just monitor things. Same for the mom.

And now... Since it is such a nice sunny day, I believe I'm going to head into midtown a bit early and walk around in the aforementioned sunlight before I start my audition session this afternoon.

Second off, CDs have just arrived.  Since the day I started using this plant they have come in boxes of fifty, two boxes per larger box.  Today there are four boxes of twenty-five in the larger boxes, which I HATE!  It now causes me more time to open boxes and it's harder to get them out of the boxes and there are now twice as many boxes to break down for the trash.  Brilliant.  They're getting a call from me now.

Julie - thanks for your positive report about White Christmas.  We're seeing it here in Cincinnati on Wednesday evening.  Some of my Facebook friends saw it over the weekend and liked it a lot!

I am seeing it in Seattle the day after Christmas.

Buon Giorno, DR TCB!

-And that's a wonderful story!

*Did you have any pictures taken of  - or, hopefully with - your driver?

I have taken about three hundred photos so far, but I haven't downloaded any of them yet.  I took several photos of the dead Popes, Jose, but it never occured to me to tkae a photo of the beautiful Davide.

Can't wait to see some of your pictures, DR TCB, when you get back.  Is it true, what they say about Italian men?

Thanks to one and all for the good wishes.  I am glad you all enjoyed the story.  it is funny, it didn't seem weird to me when it happened, but the longer I have been back on the ship, the weirder it seems to me.

DR TCB, I hope the heat is not getting to you--I would have thought the three hundred pictures would have been of him alone.

Make sure you have Davide show you all one of Rome's beautiful beaches.

I don't really know, DAW.  Unfortunately.  I have had two kockout gorgeous cab drivers and three very ugly trolls.  There are several crew members who are also quite stunning.  However, other than good looks and great bodies; I couldn't tell you.
