Well, you've read the notes, the notes were styling, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently styling their hair in pompadours and pageboys.

I LOVED Nine when I saw it on Broadway, both the original with Raul Julia, and the revival with Antonio Banderas. I wish that they had kept more of the original songs, and am not happy that they cut My Husband Makes Movies/Only With You, and The Bells Of St. Sebastian. They did cut those, right?

The Broadway show was pretty surreal, also, with Guido's fantasy life frequently confused with reality. I remember when Javier Bardem was cast as Guido, but backed out due to "exhaustion". How was Penelope Cruz? Jane Krakowski was breathtaking in the revival.

I also have the London concert version of Nine with Jonathan Pryce and Elaine Page. Bruce, I wish you could have seen it on stage. Spectacular and incredibly moving.

JR thanks for the dream interpretation. It makes sense to me. I don't often remember my dreams but Anthony has been having many dreams the past few months and this one stuck with him.

I am all alone at 5:38. It's time for a shower and then off to the office.

I am looking forward to seeing the movie Nine, but from the clips I've seen, it does look like way too many fast edits.

I need to go finish packing and taking care of some other things around here.

I'll be leaving for the airport in a few hours to head down to Florida to start Thanksgiving week with family.

Jose - that's a pretty impressive mug collection.  I have alot of show mugs, too.  I use them every day for coffee and tea.  It makes me happy to have my morning coffee in one of them.

I have the Sondheim Celebration one, which I love.

I do not have the Tommy one, which looks mighty fine.  ;)

Monday morning greetings!  Today is grocery shopping day for Thanksgiving.  We're having 8 or 10 people - if it's 8, everyone can sit at the dining room table; if 10, I'll add a card table at the end and make it look like one table.  If I don't know for sure, I'm going to prepare for 10 because it will be more gracious to take away 2 spots than to add them at the last minute.

The "uncertains" are John's wife and daughter, who are having quite a time facing their first holiday season without him.

Julie - DF FJL could bring you a Dunkin Donuts bagel with egg cheese and bacon if you'd like.  (If you're even still around)

TOD:

I believe my first movie theatre 3-D experience was a showing of HOUSE OF WAX when I was a youngen.  I remember not being impressed by much of it except for the guy with the paddle ball--that part was fun.

I would love to see KISS ME, KATE in 3-D, just for the fun of it.

And I am looking forward to seeing James Cameron's AVATAR.  Initially, I dismissed it as a video game come to life through CGI, but with every new preview that is released it looks more and more astounding.  I am hoping the 3-D works well with it, too.
