When is DAW back with us?

When he left on Monday he said "next week" - so I guess Sunday PM or Monday.

Bruce,  did you ever find your sleeping shorts?

I'm not Bruce but I can answer. She of the Evil Eye had put them away and got them for him.

I also watched Friday night's WHITE COLLAR while I ate lunch. Very enjoyable episode though the denouement was really anticlimactic and unsatisfying. Up until then, it was a very entertaining episode.

The commentary on episode #10 was by th writers of the episode, and it was not very enjoyable. I lost interest about halfway through.

I'm on disc four now, and there is a bonus feature on this disc called LOST 100. I'm assuming it's a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the 100th episode. That should be a fun bonus.

Maybe the Shorts were with the Telephone in the Closet

Heading back down now to finish (hopefully) the last four episodes of the season and as many bonus features as I can fit in tonight before 10 p.m. Luckily, nothing is on TV of interest to interrupt my work.

I've finished the Moross score and Act Two Scene One of THE MOST HAPPY FELLA. The copyist, Ben salisbury, for MHF  is doing a spectacular job and I'm proofing the score with a huge smile on my face. It's just beautiful to look at. Poor Ben got lots of scathing notes from me on the first pass - as  Dan,the copyist on the Moross score, will, too, very shortly -  and he did everything I asked with good humor and skill. I won't settle for Finale-ized music that doesn't have a visual appeal on the page.

So, I'm trying to decide what I will watch tonight. I'm thinking about the HANSEL & GRETEL from 1954 with Anna Russell as the vocie of the Witch.

I ran over to the corner market. The Christmas tree vendors, who set up yearly at the corner of 82nd Street and Amsterdam, are arriving and the corner smell like fresh pine. Very Christmas-y.

On the bad side of things, my HMO sent me a statement for a visit in March (!) for $267.00 and I have no idea why the HMO didn't cover it. I'm sure it's an error, but, of course, no one's in who can answer my inquiry until Monday.

I'm back and to prove it, I'm here.  I had lunch at the Studio Cafe and now I'm sated and sleepy, so I think I'll go sit on my couch like so much fish and watch a motion picture.

There was a scheduled power outage here all day. So this is the first chance i've had to get online.

Wow, the vixter looks great. But a couple of those boys look older (to me).

DR MattH, this is terrible that your debit card is also your credit card. Is that common in the US?  Here we have bank cards and credit cards are something separate. Although i believe you can put your VISA in the bank machine.

Why are we struggling so to even get to page five.  It can't just be l'absence de Jane and Daw.  Non.

Forgive me for not remembering, but is it DAYS OF OUR LIVES some of you watch?  Betsy just found out that little girl Lauren Boles of that show is our sister-in-law's cousin!

For the first time in its history, Portland is under a boil order for its water.  I won't go into detail about this or other tribulations we personally have faced the past few days, but suffice it to say Betsy has said she is about to pray to her G-d that the 10 plagues cease soon.  ;)
