Well, now you know.

Well, I DID know once Jose told me how to access said blogs... I doubt if I'd remember a few days from now. Ah, the blessings of age...

I didn't know Panera had plugs, so if I have to come back, which I'm praying I don't, then I'll bring the power cord.  So, if the iPhone battery needs to be replaced, do I do that at the Apple Store?

Yes, you can get your iPhone battery replaced. However, it doesn't really need to be done until the battery life is somewhere in the 30 minute range.  If you got the Apple Care for it, the battery replacement is covered, otherwise, it will run you around $75.  It can be a "walk-in" repair, but it's always best to call Apple Care in advance and set up a Genius Bar appointment.

*I'm still have my original iPhone battery.

Most Starbucks have plugs too. ;)

*I always keep a spare iPhone cord in my day bag.

Only three children showed up for the party and rehearsal. Tomorrow will be chaos. Hopefully everyone will think it's cute.

I can hope.

Well, phone is charged full and I guess I'll just go home and do nothing.  I don't really feel like driving around aimlessly.

The last time we lost power, I pulled up a chair next to a window, got a book, and read all afternoon. We didn't get power back until long after the sun went down, but thankfully, I had plenty of candles.

Guess I'm going to head down now and sort through the closet looking for something decent to wear to the Christmas party tonight. Then, I'll start getting cleaned up for that.

A really good place to go, for a charge and free wireless internet, is a public library... up in the cabin, sometimes I'm days without electricity - a mere half-hour's drive, and I can be in the exquisitely appointed (our tax $$$ at work!!) Sultan Public Library. Free DVD's, too... and electric sockets abound where one can plug one's phone and laptop into the current...

With the old board, getting to the notes was second-nature.  With this board, i often have to remind myself that I have to go read the notes.  Not sure why that is.

Me, too!  I really thought this whole day would be hellish.  Now I'm listening to music and relaxing and will soon watch a motion picture.

glad the power returned quickly.  i figured it would from the description of the problem.  they just about always give a much longer time frame than expected, just to be on the safe side.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Continuing vibes for the vixter! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I just had a tasty hot Italian sandwich and a salad so dinner's out of the way. I'm ready for a night at the theatre with Charlotte. I'm going to pick her up around 6:30 and we'll go down to the St James and go backstage to see what's going on.
I just discovered that I left something hot out of DR MBarnum's Christmas package I mailed this morning. How maladroit. I guess he'll have to come East to pick it up. I wonder if he knows that Tom Wopat is doing the new Sondheim revue? Yes, Virginia, another! Just what the world needs.
Because I felt I had to have something at Panera, I had two muffin tops - on top of the bacon and eggs, so I guess I won't be able to have a light snack later, which had originally been my plan.  I blame Jose.
