The Vixter & I will be seeing Ragtime at 2 on Saturday - I assume that meansd we will bw free and in the NYC anytime after 5...if any DRs would like to meet for dinner... Edi?  Ben ? FJL? Elmore? (I know Jose will be out of town --)  I think you all have my cellphone number....Elmore definitely does...

We willbe off soon for our 'sleepover party' so HAPPY NEW YEAR to One and ALL

I have to dine with the team that night but could definitely meet before then, as far as I can tell right now. I'd love to see you and the  getting all grown up and beautiful Vixter. Hmmm...wonder if there are more tickets to be had...

I thought they were rereleasing THE JUDY GARLAND SHOW DVDs.

Infinity has re-released Volume 1 but it's not the same as the original Pioneer Arts release and I haven't seen anything beyond Volume 1. I've been looking but all I see (and all we have) from Infinity is Volume 1

Deb, I meant to respond earlier but forgot. We won't be able to meet up with you and Vix after Ragtime. We have plans for Saturday. I hope to see you sometime in 2010 and hopefully not before next December.

I believe that pic was taken from the upper lobby of the Minskoff Theater (home of Disney's The Lion King).

Is that the little-known sequel to A Streetcar Named Desire?

More likely Taxi zum Klo.

I've been sitting around the house all morning singing (if one could call it that) the entire OCR of A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC to myself without the benifit of playing the actual recording.  It's amazing that I know that thing inside and out the way I do.

Now where was I?  Where was I? Oh, yes!...

There was a time when I could do just the same thing.  -And there was even a time when I could basically play and sing the whole score to Sunday in the Park with George from memory, by "heart".  -And that included all the various parts/lines in "Putting It Together".  Today... Well... Not so much. I'm lucky if I can remember the opening measures of each song in those scores.

I have to meet Greg at Penn Station when his train from NJ gets in...check his bag and then head up. So if we are able to see the ball drop, we'll call it a success!

Just watching the news reports from Times Square... Yep, that's a LOTTA people!  -And a lot of police personnel too - both in uniform and plain-clothes.

For me, it was the original Broadway version of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor© Dreamcoat.  Weird, huh?

Where are you planning to check his bag?  Does he have a hotel somewhere near Penn Station?  They got rid of bag check at Penn Station after 9/11.

You'll be fine.

I'd suggest heading back down to Village to drop off Greg's back at your hotel.  Then take the 1, A/C/E, etc. train up to 50th or 59th (Columbus Circle).  Then just start walking down Broadway or Seventh Ave until you can't walk south anymore due to the crowds.  *That will also make sure you're on the right side of the Square to see the Ball drop.

*Last New Year's Eve, I attended a party on 50th Street and 9th Ave., and it was pretty easy to navigate down from 59th even at 11:00pm.

Wow!  I'm guess I'm lucky to have bought the two Judy box sets when they were initially released!  Although it is annoying that they don't seem to be in any sort of order.

Thanks for the moving vibes.  Moving day isn't actually until Monday.  The carpet is looking good, but they had a lot to do when I left.  Since the whole carpet being done thing is up in the air, I decided to just wait until monday morning to move. I had hoped to get a lot done before then.  So today we packed up the whole office and then left for the holiday weekend. I have a lot of little things to do and may try to move as much as I can of the things that go to the office from the house myself, but I don't have to and if I don't feel like it I won't

I'm not going to the party tonight.  I just really want to spend a quiet night at home.  I called the host this morning and told him.  He said he completely understood, but some of my other friends seem to think I'm mad or something. I'm not, just need and want to stay home. So I am. :)
