Heading down now to clean up for my lunch out later with best friend John. SHould be able to fit in another MENTALIST revisit, too, or BROTHERS & SISTERS before we leave for lunch.

Monday morning greetings!  At 7am I was thinking about getting up and the next thing I knew it was after 9 - that is so unusual for me.  Anyway, it's very cold again today and for a while there were sparkly snow flakes swirling around in the air.  They actually looked more like something you'd see on stage or screen as a special effect than like snow that would accumulate.

The Post Office in Terre Haute says that what the seller mailed is a First Class Parcel for Receipt Confirmation.

The Post Office in Mooresville says it is a First Class Letter so Receipt Confirmation MUST be at Priority Mail rate - hence it cost me $2.95.  The seller is adamant that his Post Office gave it the OKAY....

DR FJL - I think you should allow people to discover the Madoff connection as the parody unfolds. But I would put the Madoff name in the tags, so people looking for Madoff related stuff will be able to find it in a search.

My dance card is filling up; John McGlinn's executor is coming into the City on Jan 13 for some meetings with estates about the McGlinnventory, and he's booking event tickets for himself, me, and others on the McGlinnventory: we're seeing Rebecca Luker at Lincoln Center on Jan 14, and he's bringing a group to see FINIAN'S RAINBOW on Jan 16. On Friday the 15th I'm going to the orchestra reading for FANNY at Encores! and I've got the closing of FINIAN'S on Sunday the 17th.

I've run all my errands, answered several emails, and spoken to Joshie. My postponing is over so I've got charts to write.

I think so, too.  Those WICKED FAN-atics might not know who he is.

Come and Get It - the movie that put 22 year old Frances Farmer on the map is on TCM tonight at 8 p.m EST.  She does do a nice job...and if you can get past Edward Arnold in jeans and Walter Brennan's yumping yimitty (Oscar winning) performance - it's a pretty good movie.  And of course there's Joel McCrea.

I'm up, I'm up... And I slept in... And my parents slept in too... So... I'll be on the 1:00pm bus back to NYC from RIC.  Hmmm...

Are you back home yet, DR Jose?

Not yet, DR Julie.  -See my previous post.

My bus should get in around 7:30, but most likely it will get in around 8:00.  Although, if the traffic gods are with us, it could get in around 7:00.  So...

Please do not let me hold up your dinner plans tonight with DRs FJL and edisaurus.  I can check in from the road, and if the timing works out, maybe I can join you all for dessert.
