I gotta tell you.
I left work early 'cause my blood sugar was all out of whack and I felt awful. I took a nice nap and have been watching some old Kane Richmond movies and episodes of NORTHWEST PASSAGE. I still don't feel so hot, but I have been entertained.
My guess is NBC will hold O'Brien to his contract and will make him sit and wait.
Then I watched last night's CHUCK episode. There was the difference between night and day in last night's show and Sunday night's double feature. Entertaining and completely non-irritating. All the things I despised about Sunday's shows (the silly BuyMore characters, Chuck's preoccupation over his love for Sarah to the detriment of the mission) were missing and it made for a terrific episode. The ending was a shock, but then the previews put that to right. spoiler - - - - If they had killed off Captain Awesome and retained those idiotic BuyMore guys in the cast, this was going to be the LAST episode of the show I ever watched. Now that Chuck has a kindred spirit who knows what he's up to, the show is IMMEASURABLY better with someone he can talk over his troubles with and explain his absences: in other words, someone who has his back on the home front. That's the BEST innovation they've added to the new season.
Just wait till your box arrives in the mail......all bargains.
Jose - You might be right, but all i need is a Twitter account so that I'd sit there watching the numbers on that!!! I'd never get any work done.
I don't think world will stop turning if Leno gets the tonight show back and O'brian quitsThere is show however where the world will stop turning but that won't happen until September
Jose - I see numbers of followers, etc, those look like numbers someone might get addicted to counting
My hunch is that NBC wants Conan to quit, so that Jay can have THE TONIGHT SHOW back.
Ah, well... From "Time Out: New York":Ever since the January 17 closing of Finian’s Rainbow was announced, rumors have swirled of a possible transfer to keep the show alive. The problem, some said, was that the St. James Theatre was simply too large; in a smaller venue (with some trimming of the cast and orchestra to keep expenses down), the musical might thrive. There was even a rumor that Andrew Lloyd Webber might personally finance a transfer to the Neil Simon Theatre to hold the space until his own new musical, Love Never Dies, could move in later this year. But it is not to be: The cast, which had been holding out for a miracle, has been told that the transfer will not happen. (”Got the news,” wrote the supreme Terri White on Facebook tonight. “There was a chance of moving the show but it didn’t happen.”) So if you want to see this show, which has many passionate adherents, you have only until this Sunday after all."

Interesting statement by Conan O'Brien. Thanks for the link, Jose.
Conan O'Brien tells NBC to stick it...politely.
