Jose - Are we sure that's really a Yale-related enterprise, as opposed to a well-executed hoax?  :)

Well... Since I know three of the performers/students in that video as well as two of the professors, well...

Handy Man cancelled.  So, I finessed yesterday's work and have written two or three new pages.  I don't really have to do more because I've written about fifteen pages more than I expected to so far this week, but I'll probably do more in a while.  We've just wrapped filming Nudie Musical.

That's the song I always think of when I hear this title.

Pouring rain.  I'm meeting Kevin Spirtas at Jerry's at noon and I really hope this rain stops.  It's incredible how hard it's coming down - I pray for the power to hold.

I have a MAC board meeting tonight, and had a Prospect Board meeting yesterday.  I'm getting very exciting about the upcoming production of The Hidden Sky, which Prospect is doing starting the end of this month.

I do not like looking at the past.....and I also found a copy of the worst review I ever got....

"....he does not act or react to anything....I felt the same way when I saw him in 'Ma Rainey's Black Bottom.'  He is not an actor."

Has anyone else ever received negative reviews for TWO plays in the same article?  The review was for my part in SISTER MARY IGNATIUS EXPLAINS IT ALL FOR YOU - and I don't think I was THAT bad....I think the director would have told me.

I don't think I've ever been "reviewed" in a review, other than to be listed as a cast member.

OLTL is truly awesome today, with a fantastic verbal catfight between the gay couple and the ex-stripper gold-digging whores. While it wasn't Noel Coward drawing room comedy, it was very very funny:

Kim: "Once a blackmailer always a blackmailer. You give gays a bad name"
Kyle: "You two ain't exactly doing much for strippers and sluts either"

This soap is to be commended for so many reasons, but its writers deserve a big nod for its wonderful balance of outrageous humor and melodrama.

jennifer in many area they ran out of the seasonal flu shot & supply has not met the demand.  i think for the most part those who wanted the h1n1 got it & interest in the new supplies arriving for it have waned.

At the flu clinic i went to yesterday they were also offering the H1N1 in case anyone had not gotten it and still wanted it. But i think everybody was just getting the regular flu shot.

Usually there are a lot more people getting the seasonal flu shot. But i guess since there have not been massive outbreaks of it, and many people got the H1N1 they are opting out this year.

It definitely does feel like a weird time of the year to get it.

Had a nice luncheon with Mr. Kevin Spirtas.  It's still pouring out.  No mail, no packages today, which was more than a little odd.

I am sick at home today.  Woke up at about 1:00 am with an overwhelming need to vomit and that began an houly ritual throughout the night. It kept up until 10 this morning--ugh...

Since then Ive been sleeping the day away.  When I'm awake I got stomach cramps, aches and pains plus a sore chest and a stress headache from all of the strain of vomiting (I'm not very good at it...)

Again, ugh...

I think I've done about ten or eleven pages, so I'll take a nice long break and maybe do a few more later.  I just started a new chapter.
