Additional TV notes:

BURN NOTICE begins its new season tonight at 10 on USA.

PROJECT RUNWAY shows its second episode of its new season on Lifetime, also at 10.

(Thankfully, I can record one of these shows at a later airing in the early morning since I'll be recording THE MENTALIST at 10 as well.

I just checked out slice tv (the canadian channel that shows project runway) and the new season will begin for us feb 6th. NOt great but we'll only be 3 weeks behind.

FROM CILLA:
Quote
My mother called to tell me she dropped a dozen eggs on the floor.  4 brokes but stayed in the carton, she said rather than get mad she thought " at least it wasn't a can of red paint" lol
;D

As for the woman looking unhappy in reference to the photographers, she was looking down, not at them.  some people rescued would look up.  i figured aside from her ordeal making her unhappy, so did the crowd.

Funny title of the notes.  My 4 year old niece uses that word all the time when she goes to the bathroom.

;D

It is pretty funny. I'm sure she is the only 4 year old that says that.  And of course I taught her the word.

I also got a chuckle from what DR Cillaliz's mom said.  IT is good to have a good attitude.

Well DR CP you would be writing about my ancestors.....Lord Stanley who changed his mind and helped defeat Dick III was my 19th back Grandfather.

Sorry, to say that, as one who believes in the innocence of Richard III, I find your illustrious ancestor a really bad guy.

Oy. I went to the library. They had some books waiting for me that i had reserved and a dvd.

Anyhow i got them at the front desk, but we can't pass movies through the detectors. So i asked the librarian to put my bag aside (which they do all the time).

When i went back to the desk to get them the librarian could not find them. It turns out the original librarian had forgotten to put the books under the desk and had just left them on the desk. Another librarian came and took them (as if someone had returned them).

Luckily the first librarian was able to fix the situation. Although it wasn't easy (since there were people who had reserved the books and it's not that easy to bump people).

The librarian was very sorry! (i should have watched to make sure she took the bag and put it under the desk).

Jose, you are correct, it is caffeine free tea.  Twining’s English Breakfast to be precise.

Umm... Well, I hope it was Twinings English Breakfast Decaffeinated then. ;)

Oh, I agree - especially since his second wife was the mother of the man who then became king.....

We finished the McGlinnventory early since we ran out of cartons. I went to NYPL briefly to dig through the file drawers of the Theatre Collection which the asses in charge of the library - and neither use nor know how to use the collection - have moved from the third floor to the second so they can justify eliminating staff and putting the librarians in the collections onto the second floor desk duty. Researches, jumping from the third floor drawers of music to the second floor drawers of theatre and film, are needless and pathetic because of those fools. I keep hoping someone more irate will go postal and blow them away. Then maybe things will go back to the practical, easy method of research before last summer.

As to the McGlinnventory, I believe we've finished first pass on all printed material and we're down to a ton of records and compact discs.

Good morning, good day, how are you this beautiful day?  I am up.  I tell you I could sleep all day when it's raining.  Of course, now I am very behind, but I'll get right to work.

It's a new series on STARZ(?) with Lucy Lawless. It's got DR MBarnum's name written all over it.

Oh dear, I just consented to be one of the "professionals" in the Dancing With the Putnam County Stars competition....it's a charity event that raised almost more than $25,000 for the community last year....I turned them down last year....and I hate to do it two years in a row.  What if they stopped asking?

i hope I get a nice ballroom category.

Unfortunately, my hunch is the prize is more quinoa.

I am not quite sure what one does with quinoa after cooking it. Do you add it to other dishes, like soup?
