Since All that Chat is restricting video links to one's own videos these days, may I do a Sinatra double feature air-travel dance on page 10:

The Sinatra double-feature parody

Part 1 - "Fly Me In The Nude" - going though the full-body scanners at Newark Airport (I think Part 1's been linked here before)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gn3AcCmPL00

Part 2- the relatively un-P.C. "Flying with this Loon" - after getting through security in part 1, "Sinatra" in part 2 decks a suspicious character on the plane

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lDtWUZx858s

honoring the upcoming Twyla Tharp Sinatra Broadway show

Is the movie WAIT TILL THE SUN SHINES, NELLIE available on video or DVD?

I don't think it is.  At least, not legally.

Darn!  I love that movie.

Try ebay.  Maybe somebody is offering it.

No such luck.

Why isn't available legally?

Because Fox has never released it onto DVD.

Not only is it not Burt Lancaster in Adrian Messenger, it's also not Frank Sinatra (obviously it's Sinatra removing the makeup at the end) - now, I happen to know who played "Sinatra" in the film proper and I think I spilled the beans right here - anyone know?

Didn't Jan Merlin do all the roles...except Mitchum's?

Nope.  Sinatra was done by a well-known character actor.

Cilla - LOL!   On the occasions when i walk Dylan, he moves so fast with excitement that he does seem to be walking me.

Seriously, who is out in front pulling a human around the block - the dog, of course.

And, that character actor's name was...?

Welcome New DR Josh Mitchell!

Do you have any pets?

Thanks td!  We've got three cats (Grady, Simon, and Zoe) and a lizard named Boo ('cause she's so easily frightened).

We love photos around here.  This is a baby photo of Sherlock.

What a cuddler!

Here's the Mitchell family (my wife Holly, daughter Ayla, and me), December 2009

Great cat photos, DR Josh -- and family, too.

DR Elmore, why did you have to mention Carmen Alvarez? Will have to dig up all those Ben Bagley CDs she was on. On Cole Porter Vol. II, she sings "Fish" in a way that causes you to laugh and melt at the same time.

And, BK, great call: It was a baffling day, indeed.

And then I watched tonight's LOST.

One has to feel very sorry for Sawyer. He's lost just about everything and seems kind of desperate now. Heaven knows what he'll be capable of.

That was one SCARY image to end the show!

I must have seen a different episode :)  I found it all a bore and am already tired of the conceit of the first two episodes.  Sorry, just don't see what was scary and/or surprising about the last shot - for me, it was obvious that would happen.  And I don't even watch a lot of these shows on TV.  I also watched a bit of something called The Forgotten, which followed Lost.  What a piece of tripe - are all shows that badly written?

My Classic Images subscription will start with the March issue, so I will miss DR MBARNUM's interview with Lisa Monteil.

Call or e-mail them and ask them to start with the Lisa Montell issue, Jack.

Today was the last day of my four day weekend. Sigh.

I ended my day with the finishing of the transcribing of my Jewell Lain interview and then watching an old Lippert B movie called ARSON, INC. starring Robert Lowery, Anne Gwynne, and Marcia Mae Jones. The last two ladies I am happy to say I have met. Both were very sweet (they have since passed on).

Yesterday, I wrote:

Does anyone here use http://castalbumcollector.com ?  You can make a profile and create lists of all the musical theater recordings/DVDs you own and you can even make a wishlist.  I've created a wishlist of the CDs that I'm certain were among what was stolen from my garage last summer (my screenname is georged555) and when I've replaced them, I mark them as owned.  Anyway, for the last couple of days, I can't get to my wishlist!  It shows the number of titles in my list and if I search a specific title, I can see that it's in my wishlist, and I can even move titles to and from my wishlist, but I can't get to the whole thing.  Does anyone else have this problem...if anyone else uses http://castalbumcollector.com/

It's back!  I can get to my wishlist!

Tonight, I watched "Lost" and "Past Life."  "Past Life" was very similar in style to "The Forgotten."  Christian Slater in "The Forgotten" is a former cop whose daughter has been missing and can't be found.  Nicholas Bishop in "Past Life" is a former cop whose wife died a  year ago (as of the pilot episode).  They both are doing what they're doing because of their situations.  Too, too similar.

Otherwise, I thought that it was not bad, but I don't know how long a show with this kind of premise can last. :-\
