Well, you've read the notes, the notes were baffling, and now it is time for you to post until the baffling cows come home.

Topic of the Day:  "Some Like It Hot" is the first movie that comes to mind. :D

I've never seen "The Sopranos"...but it's not a movie, so that wouldn't count, anyway.

The presentation went very well.

It ran over (expected) by about a half hour so I'll leave a half hour early on Friday

Tradition from the latest London recording of Fiddler is playing.

They are talking about snow again and this time the New York City area is supposed to be hit. Anthony is heading out to Long Island today to take care of some business. The snow is supposed to begin this evening and by tomorrow morning we may have "blizzard conditions"

Good morning, all! Another day with the McGlinnventory, followed by a visit with Mr Kevin Spirtas concerning a benefit next month in Bocca Raton. I think this is the third year I've had work derived from this event: Patrick Cassidy, Liz Callaway, and Mr Spirtas have all been invovled at one or more times.

Yesterday I got a call from Equity Fights AIDS about doing a chart pro bono for their Feb 22 event, Broadway Backwards, in which men perform numbers written for ladies and vice versa. I'll go to Thursday's rehearsal and and see what they have to give me. Tomorrow, I tackle the Manhattan School of Music library as well as the NYPL again, looking for for recording material.

TOD:

PRIZZI'S HONOR
BROADWAY DANNY ROSE

I also have not seen an episode of THE SOPRANOS, but generally, organized crime is not a genre I'm interested in.

Reports vary, but the snow here in the mid-Atlantic is not due to start until sometime between 4:00 and 7:00 this afternoon, so DR Jose should have no problems getting back to the city.

So last night I watched 8 1/2 and I couldn't help but think--wouldn't it have been better if Rob Marshall had hired Kirstie Alley to play Saraghina instead of Fergie?

Last night DR Jane asked about how my peanut buttercup cheesecake turned out.

I think it turned out pretty much how it was supposed to. Although it wasn't exactly what i was expecting. I thought since there was a layer of chocolate mixed with cream cheese that the actual cheesecake part would seem more chocolately. But it wasn't.

And there was only one layer of peanut butter at the bottom. And the reese peanut buttercups on top. so i was expecting it to be more peanut buttery.

It did taste good. Although i think i prefer my cheesecakes to be more like cheesepie (sort of soft instead of the typical pretty hard cheesecake). But it was a pretty good first effort!

Good morning!

The rain hadn't started when I took my walk this morning (thankfully), but it's drizzling now and supposed to rain all the rest of the morning and afternoon. I'll be inside, so it won't matter, but we're already an inch and a half ahead of normal rainfall for the month, and we're not even 10 days into the month yet.

DR George,

I still like the capers on CHUCK, too, which is why I'm still watching (though there was too much lovey-dovey stuff to suit me last night). Still, as long as the capers take up more than half the episode, I'll continue to watch and just speed through the parts that irritate/bore me.

I would never have thought of 'M' but it's a GREAT choice.

My picks:

THE DEPARTED
THE GODFATHER PART II
MILLER'S CROSSING
