Thanks Cilla.  I won't watch live.  I prefer to record & watch the parts I enjoy.  With the speed of the internet there may not be many surprises for me.

Well, apparently Mr. MRSA decided he didn't like having to wait until Monday to be lanced; so, instead, he it burst.

Very sad about the luger (is that a word?) who died in practice today at the olympics. :(

Apparently they were showing it non-stop on the pre-pre show. Although thankfully when i started watching with my niece they had stopped. Apparently they were actually showing the accident.

My niece is very excited about the Olympics. It's the first one she has watched.

I need to check the schedule to see when one of my favorite events, speed skating begins. I think it is tomorrow.

This is very good news, yes?

It was pretty messy, and the infection is still there; but I guess it is a little more comfortable.

I suppose you prefer the doctor to do it all nice and neat. :)  Will you still need to see him or have you saved some money?

As for the T.O.D. - I'm gonna go and watch two episodes of GHOST ADVENTURES from season two; one takes place in Tombstone, Arizona, the other on a island outside of Venice, Italy.

Time to head home and watch (and probably record) the Olympics opening ceremonies.

Until later.

Maybe if you call he will order them for you, without your having to go in.

DR MattH - Great pic! Great tux! And a Great mother too!

Thanks, and I agree. No argument from me.

I remember her sitting over the sewing machine one year in tears because she was having to work with some greenish/gold foil material to make a vest, and it kept tearing. She finally got it done, but that vest had to be handled like the crown jewels because that foil material was so fragile.

Well, we've had a nice snow tonight. Started around 5:30, and was still lightly snowing at 10. It looks like a couple of inches out there: very soft and powdery.

I'm finding their getting so close to the edge of the podium a bit scary.

I began my evening with THE BOURNE SUPREMACY on Blu-ray. I love these Bourne movies so much, and the DTS-HD MA 5.1 sound is SO much more impressive than the Dolby Digital Plus that was on the HD-DVD. Picture was about the same, didn't really notice any differences there, but the audio upgrade was quite startling.

I watched a couple of the shorter featurettes on the disc. I also flipped on the U-Control PiP pop-up window during the credits, and it showed the alternate ending where Bourne dies from his wounds. Glad they didn't use THAT ending!

Next I watched this week's PROJECT RUNWAY. Of the top three, I would have chosen the second place finsher, I think. The winner was eye-catching but I didn't think it was all that flattering to the girl's figure like the judges said it was. Maybe it was just the bad angle of the TV cameras, but it wasn't my favorite.

As for the bottom three, I was certainly in agreement with the losing design. Drab and awful.

I certainly don't know anyone in Puyallup, WA.

This is the first call from a landline, according to whitepages.com

Up next was this week's BURN NOTICE. As always a good episode although I felt having brother Nate on the show wasted such a fun actor on a nothing C-plot story.

The sociopath Michael is dealing with in his long story arc is a very attractive actor. But he's so evil that he's creepy.
