Just concluded the deal for a new soundtrack - hopefully the first of many with a new company for us.

Jennifer - I don't care for sports, especially competitive, and I don't really care about national pride, at least not at this particular time in our history.

And The Brain will also be playing in Indiana at the same time.

Send me a card, and I will take it when I attend.

Inuit women used to give birth, eat a handful of snow, wrap their baby in a bearskin, and head off over the glaciers.  Just so you know.

I have no plans to give birth.

I was in and out of Aspen Dental today in less than a half an hour!

I'll leave it to someone else to explain why you drive from Pennsylvania to Colorado to see a dentist.

I love the scenic route.

Question today on ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A FIFTH GRADER?

The Wabash River starts in Ohio and travels through what state on its way to Illinois?

Grown up's answer:  Uh...Colorado?

I was in and out of Aspen Dental today in less than a half an hour!  I must say it was so quick that I didn't even notice the tooth being pulled.  My words, through Novocaine and gauze, were "Holy crap!"  I am to take the day off work tomorrow, continue on antibiotics for two weeks and call if there are any complications.  Of course, no solid food today.  No hot food nor any cold food.  Room temperature soft foods.  So, I made two packs of instant pudding, one Royal one Jell*O, and although they were different flavors, the Jell*O undoubtedly tastes better.

Wow, that was fast.  Did you drive yourself ok?  I know bleeding can be a problem while trying to drive home.  I hope it doesn't hurt too much & it is the cure for your problem.

Jrand, I'm thinking of coming to Indiana, too - I have a friend there who I haven't seen in over twenty years and said friend said they'd drive the 300 miles to the theater.

You went all the way to Colorado today, and you didn't swing by and say "Hello?"

In honor of George attending AVENUE Q last evening, let me just say that it sucks to be me.  My MRSA gave birth to a new outbreak this morning, despite the fact that I have been on the sulpha drugs for four days.

It is also interesting reading DRs MattH and RonP's comments about NBC. So for the west coast are they showing the exact same 8-midnight timeblock just delaying it?

I felt some frustrations last night. CTV was replaying stuff. TSN was showing curling (2 non-canada teams) and Rogers Sportsnet was showing hockey. And i really wanted to watch speed skating. The weird part is that it is one of canada's strongest sports. So i could not figure out why they were not showing it.

But apparently they can't switch out if they are in the middle of a game. Anyhow after one of the games ended they went back and quickly showed the prelim rounds and then showed the rest live. So it wasn't too bad.

I don't know if it's just me. But i can't stand when they show games that are 3 hours long.  I know hockey and curling are popular here.

They were having a lot of trouble with the long track's ice. That was one of the reasons they were cutting away to other things here. Could that be part of it?

Shortly I shall be on my way to have a light and I do mean light supper with Miss Alet Taylor.  This morning I had some bacon and eggs, so the most I'm going to eat is either a turkey sandwich, or maybe just a nice plate of fries and/or onion rings.  We shall see.

DR George - When you saw Avenue Q last night, was there a slip of paper in the program indicating that "Gary Coleman's" understudy would be on?  I could have sworn that the current tour still had a female "Gary Coleman".  Otherwise...

Glad you enjoyed the show!

*Although, I still miss the "we exchanged them for cash" line. ;)

I'll be seeing it before long in Sioux City.  I'll make sure to post whether it's a man or woman.  I'm looking forward to seeing it, despite all my trips to New York while it was on Broadway, I've never seen it
