I went to msnbc. com and got to see several untelevised free skates from the next-to-last tier of girls, so at least I got to see them (even if they won't be on my video.)

Watched the new BD of PRECIOUS to prepare for my review.  Mo'Nique was indeed as amazing as everyone has said she is.  The rest of the film I have some issues with.

Has it been mentioned that Patrick Levis (who is in BK's reading) was a remarkable Donny Osmond in the TV film about the Osmonds?

Good Evening!

I had planned to come back home after my City Bakery excursion, but...

The snow would stop for about 20 minutes at a time, then sun would start to peek out from behind the clouds, and then the snow would start right back up again.  It was off and on for about five hours.  And it was Beautiful!

Sometimes it fell in very fine flakes, other times in very big ones.  I had hoped to get up on The Highline, but they ended up keeping it closed off to the public today.  However, there were still lots of snow-covered trees and streets to look at and photograph.

And by the time I was set to head back home, my friend, Eric, called asking if I wanted to join him for dinner out in Flushing, so... :)

DR Ginny - I'm hoping to take some time on Sunday to do some research for my upcoming trip to Lexington for SETC.  I'm also going to have most of Monday free before I fly back, so there is research to be done.  Maybe DR Pogue will have some suggestions.

DR MattH - As always, it's been interesting reading your thoughts on the Women's Figure Skating. I have to say, I always admired Michelle Kwan's skating, but I never really found her "exciting". Beautiful, graceful and technically accomplished, Yes; but never that heart-racing.  Who knows? Maybe she just made it all seem so effortless, too effortless to my eyes. On the other hand, I found Yu-Na Kim's skating quite thrilling.

Was this in reference to the bird pictures or my Mark Feuerstein sighting?

DR John G - You can also upload and attach photos to a post via the full "Reply" box. Just click on "Additional Options", and you'll see "Attach: Choose File". You can attach up to 4 different pics, just as long as they're under 256 KB.
