Snow has come to New York. It's a mess out there but the office is still open. They closed during the last big snowstorm which wasn't necessary and now when they probably should have closed they won't. I can hear the voices complaining now! Oy it will be a long day at work.

At least you can walk to work! (Or maybe that's not such a good thing, sometimes...)

I take it back. We do have a snow day. They didn't put the message up until 6:15.

Yesterday a lady telephoned World of Wisdom and asked me what our phone number was.  I didn't know what else to do, so I gave it to her.

She didn't call back.

Friday is a work day.  Yesterday I received my DVD of MARRIED TO IT, so I can watch it again before receiving the fancy KRITZERLAND cd release.

And of course after reading all of yesterday's posts, I had to have a Hamlisch festival on the record player.

Occasional DR CASON wrote on his Facebook that he named his Ipod - Titanic - so that when he turns it on it will say "The Titanic is synching."

Good morning, all! I am snowbound and very happy for the excuse to stay in, do a little work and watch lots of DVDs!

BK, good news on the casting. I haven't seen Eddie Korbich since 2004 (REDHEAD at Goodspeed; I think he was the killer) and I've liked Marsha Kramer enormously since she recorded the song on the Peter Pan album. I hope your reading goes well.

TOD:
DVD: The Nanny, Season Two, the sequel to CRANFORD, Emma (BBC 1970s version), Fawlty Towers remastered edition
CD: Emma (soundtrack to new BBC production), Ivanhoe (opera by Sir Arthur Sullivan), Guy Haines, Liz Callaway
    VCR: stale porn

CITY GIRL......hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Well today Miss Dara is coming into the store to give us a lesson in updating the WORLD OF WISDOM website ourselves.....I am not sure what program she uses, but we shall see.

Then we can drop the ZOOMSHARE site we use and concentrate on the MAIN site - at last.....after four years.

Even though it's a snow day here in Manhattan the laundry still needs to be done. It's in the dryer right now and Anthony is ironing two of his shirts.

After the laundry nothing.

Anthony is listening to a Helen Kane CD

Good morning!

It's a beautiful but cold day here. It's supposed to be warmer than yesterday (when it didn't get out of the 30s), but it's still VERY cold. Argh!

Read the skating results on-line this morning and I'm anxious to see them for myself. Sounds like it was a good night, and I'll be curious to see if my opinions match the judges' final tabulations.

We didn't do lunch yesterday, but right now the plans are for best friend John and I to do lunch today. I have to mail a package and do my usual grocery shopping, but that shouldn't be a problem in terms of going out to eat since I'm usually back from the store before noon.

I'll be starting my next work project this afternoon: HAVE GUN WILL TRAVEL - Season 4, Volume 1. There are 19 half hour episodes in the three-disc set, so I'll be very busy today.

Luckily, only SPARTACUS is a new episode for me to record.
