I am back from Rebecca's wonderful concert. I went with Zachary Stains, the naked Hercules, Billy Hicks, who was the secret behind a lot of John McGlinn's success, John Vogel, the McGlinn executor, and Michelle Churchill.
We had dinner at Rosa Mexicano, where the food was fantastic and the service a complete dud. On my way to the reception I ran into Skip Kennon, whom I adore and who introduced me to Steve Marzullo, who had two songs on the program. At the reception I talked to George Dvorsky, Danny Burstein, Howard McGillin, the fantastic Joseph Thalken, and a few others, and I got snubbed - again - by Judy Kuhn (third or fourth time now), who's never acknowleged I did anything for her "Just In Time" album, and clearly does not remember I was around for her tantrums. Where's her second recording, I ask you?
