I invited several of them to join our merry troupe.  I do know a couple have found us and have been reading the notes.

I do believe the new book will go live on the Kritzerland site at midnight.  Remember this: It will be three dollars cheaper than amazon and will come with a little special something.

Woooooohoooooooooooo.....midnight on the WEST COAST.

they may be perusing the notes....certainly FACEBOOK has been buzzing among them about Mr Kimmel's visit....all positive of course.

DR CP and I are relegated to the background as non-persons in the coverage.  As we read, that may have been DR CP's plan....

LOL....after the show, you couldn't get close to MR BK without a pair of good elbows....and/or a tight sweater.

Sunday evening greetings from beautiful Gahanna, OH!  My hotel is right across the interstate from Port Columbus International Airport, so the pilots wave as they go over our parking lot.  I got here in time to check in and drop off my luggage in my room, then proceeded to Easton to meet my friends at the Vera Bradley enabler retailer.  There were 7 of us - 2 from greater Columbus, 2 from NE Ohio, 2 from northern Kentucky, and me.  The gal who'd arranged today's meet-up gave us goodie bags and arranged for the store also to give us goodie bags.  Everybody bought something and then we all proceeded to Cheesecake Factory, where another FB friend and her daughter joined us in time for dessert.  We dispersed about 5:30, I made a quick stop at Nordstrom, and made my way back here via the scenic route.  I'm in for the night, watching a very depressing NBC program about Detroit.

The above is tongue in cheek of course....MR BK talked to one and all.  As Scarlett O'Hara said...it was unfortunate at English Ivy's that when sitting at a table, you only have two sides......the rotation of fans dizzying.

MR BK did you ever get to talk to Zubrick or did he stay away....I never did see him wander down to our end of the room.

No TAR tonight because some country music self love program is clouding up the airwaves on CBS.

Zubrick did indeed come by the table and hang out (so to speak) - in fact, I told him from whence the name Zubrick came - he seemed a little shocked.

I am listening to a fabulous new cd, Maria Friedman Celebrates the Great British Songbook.  Wow!  A true highlight is a magnificent cover of Gilbert O'Sullivan's "Alone Again Naturally, " a stunning "White Cliffs of Dover" (with "Dido's Lament") runs that a close second.  Plus, any cover of "What Kind of Fool Am I?" only adds more pleasure.  And then to top it all off, there's "Diamonds are Forever."

Back vibes for DRs TCB and MattH! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

If either of you (or anybody else) has any remedies for sore lower backs i'd be interested in hearing too.  At least my problem does not hurt when i bike or walk. But it is recurring and everytime i sit or lie down i feel it.

DR Jane i also have a lot to read. I have 2 books from the library. And they called to say 2 more are waiting.

Plus there was another one I have been waiting for, but my reservation got lost. So they put me in as the next person.

Plus hopefully next month the 3rd Millenium book will be available here. Although i won't find out my spot until my library gets it. But if they get 5 copies i can't imagine that i won't be one of the first five.

It's been rainy, cold and dreary here today.  It was such a tease 2 weeks ago to have those 80 degree days. At least tomorrow should be sunnyish and maybe a high of 60.

Jrand - You have a better memory than I do, your looking younger than me and all - Am I remembering correctly a photo of a DR (was it DR CP) doing a classic play, which revealed that that DR indeed has quite "a pair of good elbows" - indeed, when I had a need for a little culture, I would happen to go back to that page from time to time (due to my appreciation of the classics) and say "Yowza, look at those elbows."

Yowza is, of course, a classical term, like Alas and hey nonny nonny.

My mother used to say of her own photos, something like:  Tis better to have looked like that and have photographic proof than never to have looked like that at all.

I have simple stretches I do.  I don't know how to explain what I do.

When I'm watching tv I support my back with pillows & put a moist heating pad on it.  I began using this when I was 18, after a car accident, and don't know what I would do without it.  I have the extra long one.  My guess is they are also sold in Canada.  http://www.thermophore.com/

Yes now and then DR CP posts photos of his life as an actor, including the photo you mention, DR FJL.

And your mother is 100% correct.

The heavy 617 page paperback I'm reading is "New England White" by Stephen L. Carter.  Has anyone read it, or his previous book "The Emperor of Ocean Park"?

Man am I tired.  Just finished watching a motion picture on Blu and Ray and shall now put the motor car away.  Tomorrow, they are blocking off four blocks including right in front of my house to film some stupid PSA commercial that involves a car accident.  The actual street they're using is two blocks from here and the very street on which I used to live.  So, I guess I'll be able to pull my car in and out of the garage, and the next block to the west you can park, too.  I just hope the CD delivery can pull up to the house because he will not be happy if he has to go too far.  In fact, if it's problematic, I'll have him pull up to the garage and bring them in that way.
