When CD's were new and they had an 800 general customer service number (in the days before caller ID), I'd call and with a southern hick accent scream: This CD is defective! The tonearm just slips right across it!
DR MATTH - there was only a threat of a sing-off in the parking lot - things were smoothed over in the next couple of sentences of dialog and it never took place.....last few minutes was more singing.J. Groff looked a little uncomfortable in the big group number....it's amazing how everyone else fits right in as a group....which they should....he may have been "acting" his part as a newbie. For obvious reason I will be skipping GLEE next week.
Speaking of DARK SHADOWS, this week I've picked up another of the many unread books from my home library and this week's selection is an autobiography of Grayson Hall. It's a badly written book about a very disagreeable woman who probably got the career she deserved.I love reading about show biz!
Must scoot. Need to have my hair cut.
And on a postive note (B-natural)...Obama extends health care rights to gay partners!

Although, one of my former co-workers received a personal phone call from President Obama last Thursday night, telling her that he was going to announce this on the 17th.
I see that WHAT'S UP DOC is coming to Blu-ray on August 10th. That's wonderful news! I love that movie. (VACATION and EUROPEAN VACATION are also coming out on Blu-ray, but I'm less enthused about those though there are some funny moments in each.)
Thanks to everyone for the health vibes. I am hoping that they take effect soon.
I love the "start outside" direction on the LP.

I enjoyed Grayson Hall in her brilliant performance in HOUSE OF DARK SHADOWS. I recall that the movie theater was very crowded on its opening weekend.
