Good Evening!
A couple of hours ago, I headed down to New World Stages for a special performance of
Seth Rudetsky's "Deconstructing Broadway: The Good, The Bad & The Headachey". In a word, it was "A-MAH-ZING!".
It was a benefit performance for
Only Make Believe, an organization which brings the Joy of Theatre to children with chronic diseases and disabilities. A very worthwhile cause. *I actually won the tickets via Twitter for tonight's event.
What was really cool - or "kewl" as they like to say nowadays - was that that Betty Buckley was his special guest tonight. She's currently in
White's Lies which is also at New World Stages, but since her show was at 8:00, and the benefit started at 7:00, she was able to stop by beforehand to help Seth "deconstruct" as well as sing "He Plays the Violin".
