Page Two really shouldn't be a landmark.

Up too early and off to work too soon. Anyway, I remember Andrea M. from her days on "Love is a Many-Splendored Thing" on, I believe, CBS.

Question: Since she only had two songs to pick from her vast repertoire, what were the two?

She did Hamlet by Frank Loesser, and I asked them to do The Sweetest of Days, which Shelly wrote.

I didn't get to bed until two, but I still got eight hours so that's good.  Can't remember exactly when the brother is arriving - maybe noon.  And I'm up.

...And speaking of "Lost"... ;)

This article has been available online the past few days, but it's "in print" in today's New York Times.  Quite a good read.  NO REAL SPOILERS.

The Men Who Made ABC’s ‘Lost’ Last

"Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, show runners for “Lost,” talk about how they kept the series going for six seasons and what it meant."

Hi all.

I did a quick read of the post from the last day or two and was very sorry to read about your friend, DR Elmore.

I'm also upset to read about DR WFO and Joe!  Can some give me an address to send a get well card? Vibes and Blessings their way for a speedy recovery!

Well I had the tooth, the whole tooth and nothing but the tooth pulled.

I can honestly say I was numb (at least on the left side of my face) when the dentist asked if I wanted a fake tooth put in.

"How much?", I asked

"Three THOUSAND", was the reply.

I knew I was drooling but I didn't think it affected my hearing.

I asked what the price was with my insurance.

Same reply but I was told I could do a bridge.

"How much", I asked.

"Fifteen hundred." Was the reply.

"With or with out insurance?"

"With!"

I thought I was going to choke.

It's going be awhile before I have anything done.  I'm just going to have to used to not having that tooth on the left side for awhile.

I thought I' d be in a lot more pain then I was.  I was just very, very, very tired afterwards and slept a good deal of yesterday away too.

I think it may have been a bit of sticker shock.

Well, I had my day of rest yesterday.  I have to gather ye old laundry and make for the laundry mat.  I hate that.

If I could just get a shed and a wash/drier life would be very good.  Instead of having to go out, I could be doing a load as I type this.

Oh well.

Do you prefer a special kind of tea?  I'm guessing what tea is used can change slightly change the taste of the cake.

Yes i add the extra raisins before baking. I just use regular tea bags. But i think you're right, you could easily change the flavor depending on what brand of tea or what kind you use.

Thanks.  I hope to try it soon.

A man in England raised a gorilla for five years before sending him to a group that reintroduces gorillas to the wild.  After five years apart the man went to the jungles of West Africa in search of his gorilla.  The video of their meeting is beautiful. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/05/14/damian-aspinalls-amazing-_n_576759.html

The new book's sales rank is pretty great right now (it will change within the hour - they always do), something like 43,000 - to break 50,000 is fantastic when you understand that amazon carries over something like three million titles.  So, someone's buying the book :)

Just spoke to Bill - they may be releasing Joe in a day or 2 and they are planning to transfer Bill to a rehab for  few weeks to help him walk .  The Vixter's schedule today is such that I cannot make it to visiting hours

We have friends coming for a visit next month.  I sent them play options & said PRIDE & PREJUDICE is supposed to be excellent.  Instead they chose CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF which we really don't want to see, plus it is a matinee.  I really expected this couple to prefer outdoor activities & hiking during the day.
