DR Jane, my library got two copies of LIVE TO TELL today. The first two have gone out and now i'm number 6. I guess that's not bad since I only reserved it a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully there will be some fast readers in the bunch!

I finally picked up ALONE today.  First I have The River of Doubt : Theodore Roosevelt's Darkest Journey to read.  Then I will decide which will be next, the fast ALONE or the, I expect, slower read EVERY MAN DIES ALONE.

I just finished reading LESSONS IN DYING.  What a depressing group of titles. ;D

I really enjoyed The River of Doubt.  I guess I should say I found it fascinating, I wasn't familiar with that part of his life.
Perhaps you should rotate in something uplifting or happy ;)

LOL as soonas  Dan mentioned hia "crotchal area" I flashed back to the Vixter's birth....  one fellow I never met before waltzed ina and lifted my sheet and took a long look at my (not so much anymore) privates... I asked if there was a sign outside inviting everyone in for a free peek  - and suggested that perhaps an introduction might be inorder

Edi - as a member of the church's real estate committee I am inthe process of finding homes to hav our realtor show us - I have been using the Multiple Listing service to locate homes and then I drive past them, slowly, sometimes several times and then I drive slowly around the neighorhood trying to decide if I like the look of the neighborhood and whetehr it is worthwhile making an appointmemtn to see the inside of the house....

I had a day...But I've decided to always look on the bright side of life....so I will only focus on the fun I had tracking down some info on a home on the red tag list to try to intervene early and save it.  The chair of the commission and I are having fun and making some real progress on a few of the houses.   He says he likes my energy, lol.  I just like working with someone who has as much fun with it as I do.

Thanks for the info, BK.  Castalbums.org doesn't list a 1971 or 72 recording, just the 1968 released in 1970 (and the 2002).  Of course, the site only gets updated when people who've signed up add recordings that they have.

There is nothing on the calendar tomorrow....but then there was nothing much on the calendar today. I was very lucky to be at the office when the call came in about an immigration heraing I didn't know about.  I'm focusing on the fact that I got the call and got my client to the hearing in time, not on the fact that it wasn't on my calendar even though the order was in the file.  I'm sure that wasn't intentional.   No harm no foul...bright side of life

Well, it sure did a number on the Game Warden - we haven't heard from him for a while.

I haven't completely adopted it....but there is the line  "Life's a piece of sh(*, when you think of it" so even the bright side of life leaves some room for complaining

Driving that far to hit someone in the head is a waste of gas...I'd figure out a reason to make them come to you - then hit em in the head ;)

Well, obviously they're incorrect about 1968 since the B'way version didn't open until December of that year - the likely year is 1970 - although likelier would be 1971.

Watching a very weird motion picture on Blu and Ray but am really having trouble keeping my eyes open.  I think I'll probably do early notes and hit the hay early.
