Do women tend to recover more quickly from heart attacks?

The Easton Press, the company that puts out those beautiful leather-bound editions of books, just sent my the announcement of thier latest epic.  THE HISTORY OF THE CRUSADES; for only four monthly payments of $125.00 each.

Give me a break.  If I want to know anything about the Crusades, I'll just ask elmore.

Listening to a potential upcoming project - I think I must do this just for the title alone.

In general, DR TCB, I think women have a higher pain threshold than men and many of them are more compliant.

Not in this household.

OK, DRs, don't be concerned if you don't see me here until later in the day tomorrow.  I received the promised call from the cardiologist's office to schedule a nurse check and asked that it be tomorrow.  She said,  "Would you like 8:30 or 9?"  I chose 9, but we'll still have to leave here about 8.

I also have a busy morning.  My car, that should have been available for pick up at 11:00 today, needs to be collected in the morning before Sherlock's vet check on his tail.  Then I have errands to run and stuff to do around here before our cousin arrives.

BK :

Another question about Adam-12.

Does the Los Angeles police department have their patrol cars patrol vast area of LA that Adam 12 seems to do?

Greetings from Toronto.  Thanks so much for all the vibes, the travel was smooth as silk.  When I got to the hotel, they didn't have down that I had prepaid the room and if I hadn't complained, they would have charged me again, but I said I'd get on the internet and get a copy of the receipt from my credit card that had been paid....she left came back and now I'm in my room and don't owe anything.  I'll pay attention and call Orbitz if necessary. But that was the only glitch

Haven't had time to get out and about yet.  There is an Irish pub in the hotel where I had a lamb shank and some great beer,  Ran into some old friends and chatted and now to bed.  Tomorrow I'm hoping to check in with the seminar, see a few sessions and find time for a tour.  It was really cloudy when we landed today, hopefully it will be clear tomorrow.  I've seen some really fun architecture and want to get out and really explore tomorrow....and go to the seminar ;)

Here is Turkey Lurkey Time with the original Broadway Cast

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EktVzsYjMJk

and clips from the Broadway revival with choreography that can't match Bennett's originality. This choreography takes the title literally, uses moves that are so 2000's and a setting that so grandiose that you forget it is supposed to be a simply office party.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAqsdWOhJ_Y

and this scene from the film Camp is far more exciting than the revival. At least it gets into the spirit of the original production and more interesting because they are teenagers doing it

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FN692nmEQiw

and of course

From the Bacharach To The Future BC/EFA benefit - Choreography by Michael Bennett, recreated by Adam Cates. Show was directed by Bruce Kimmel and conducted by Alex Rybeck.

No grandoise set and limited stage space is far better than the revival

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aukNN8J7EIY

I love the original staging of this song and can't understand what the minds behind the revival weren't thinking! They've made the singers bimbos and by doing so, they give credence to the office men's belief that women are just something to play with. What would it matter if they had an affair with an airhead who didn't know better? It's incredibly misogenistic and the viewpoint drains the song of any charm. Plus, the dancing is dreadful. It went from being a showstopper to something staged in front of a curtain while the set is changed.

Hi, all, we're in Frenzy, er, Fresno.  It be hot here!  Traffic from Sacramento down here was a bear.  I'm thinking we will not do 99 north on the way back and stick to I5, but the problem is there is virtually nothing between Bakersfield (which isn't even on I5) and Sacramento on I5.

Enjoy Toronto Cilla!!!

I have never been to the city - but I hate the airport -- it seemed that they would drop  you at one gate and then you would have to walk  the entire distance that you had just flown to get your bags - although  they were never there because "the belt ws broken"
