To all by fellow HHW here is an earthquake prediction that happen to California, Oregon, Washington and Vancouver, BC. It will be 9.0 or greater. It is predicted for September 26th. Just in time for my visit.

http://www.stupidvideos.com/video/just_plain_stupid/Severe_Earthquake_Warning_For_California_in_September_2010/#301758

Thanks for the warning.  I'll hold off making my plane reservations until the 27th.

I hope this won't impact my Glendale book signing on October 17th.

I see that Columbia is now going the Warner Archive route.

They have some good titles, but I'll wait for the discounts.

That would be great.  It would save me plane and hotel fares.

This Time Machine backup thing is driving me absolutely insane - it's been "finishing" its latest backup for forty-minutes now - I don't get it and neither does Apple, but they say as long as there's no error message to leave it be.  The problem is that while it's "finishing" I can't burn CDs because the CDRs for whatever reason don't read when the damn Time Machine is working.  I'm going to manually force it to stop in about thirty seconds.

Feeling a bit under the weather....as they say.....sore throat and fever....not much of a voice.

I shall have to call DR ELMORE and reschedule the recording session - I don't think he will mind.

No jog this morning - will have to do it later this afternoon - I've been burning CDRs for the cast of Unsung Musicals and printing orders.

And in the horse racing department - oh, that's yet another horse saying, isn't it - Coco is getting raves from the usual types, especially praising Andrea.  But I simply don't trust these people's opinions, having read about other things they love.

People are starving in China.

When I was a kid, way back during WW2, my mother used to say to me:

"Eat everything on your plate, or we'll have to send it to the poor children in Europe."

Now, had I been bold enough back then, I would have handed her the plate and said, "Go Ahead!"

And the word of the day is: SUBAUDITION!

"I would like to do a number from my soon-to-be-produced musical based on VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA".  The song is called "Dive, Dive, My Darling" and it goes like this..."

Listening to our new master, which sounds splendiferous.  If you're on the fence about the new release, check out the audio samples.

The late great Allan Sherman had a wonderful routine attributing his substantial girth to that saying. ("So I would clean the plates - four, five, six times a day - because somehow I felt that that would keep the children from starving in Europe. But I was wrong. They kept starving, and I got fat!")

JR, that's a ctually a Goden Boy promo pic, not Tower of Light.  The only Tower of Light promos I've seen are either of FF in her "ghostly" getup--long extensions in her hair and a simple gown, or the perfume shot that appeared in Vanity Fair, where she's wearing that weird square hat.

Plus, not to split hairs or anything, FF was born on September 19.  You're probably thinking of her birthyear, 1913.

If somebody says "Hey!" to my dad, he says, "Save your hey in case you marry a horse." I don't really know what that means, but there you go.

LOL,  I called the water department.  They said my water meter is reading that I haven't used any water this month.  They are coming on Thursday to see about fixing the water meter.   Would I be a bad person if I washed all my blankets, quilts, throw rugs etc between now and Thursday?

And water everything in the yard, and wash the car... Heck -- call the local church and see if the kids want to do a car wash.
