Thanks for the IMDB info, JRand. I would have never thought to explore the site for preferences.

Cilla, I like your Tiki Cat. Sculptures come in particularly handy when you run out of wall space.

Thanks Jeanne.  There's a place for it right by my fireplace. I don't want to wait until the end of the month to get it, but they are leaving the sculptures in the meadow for people to walk around all month

For those not familiar with LA weather, one report said it was 102 in Santa Monica yesterday. Another report said 107. Both are unheard of. Most homes in the area do not have air conditioning.

Now hear this.

If you have an account at IMDB, you can return to the previous interface!

1.  Log In

2.  Click on your account

3.  Under the center Box (Personalize) click on the first link Site Preferences

4.  Click the first box Reference View

5.  Scroll down and click OKAY

And the world is as it was!

Thanks.  I'll look into this tomorrow.

I heard it was the hottest on record in LA. We're having a week of upper 70s and sun.

Hello, everyone.

I believe is in 109 in DR Jeanne's apartment right now. Oh, I do not handle hot weather well!

You don't have air conditioning‽  :(

Yet I was surprised you don't have it. ;D  My parents had air in the kitchen & the bedroom when I was young.  I still remember nights my sister & I slept on the kitchen floor.

Jane, I've never had AC in any of the places I've lived in LA. My aunt and uncle lived around the corner from you on Aiken Ave and they didn't have it, either. The one exception is the home of my friend in the Hollywood Hills. He has EVERYTHING!

Watching a motion picture on Blu and Ray - halfway through, but in an hour I have to go to see the two clip reels for JMK's event.  Then I'll probably grab a bite to eat - I had my sandwich at eleven-thirty and that's surely not enough to eat for a whole day.  I also did manage a mile and a half jog.

I also had a telephonic call from David Wechter's son, Zach, who is in film school right now.  He's asked me to play a co-starring role in a short film he's written and is directing.  The dates sort of work, but I'm not sure I'll be up for learning lines - I told him to send me the script and that we'd start there.

OK, all the elements of my Armchair Tour of the Windy City gift bag are complete and I just need to put it together tomorrow.  I have a tin from Garrett's with the Chicago skyline on it that I've filled with my homemade caramel corn and 2 DVDs from WTTV11 - "Chicago by Boat: The New River Tour" and "The Foods of Chicago: A Delicious History."  Would YOU be pleased to win that as a door prize?
