George, so what if you have a storm that makes it impossible to get to work for longer than that....or say 3 or 4 storms...do you just not get paid?

We can use vacation leave but I don't know what would happen if someone has used all their leave time.  I suppose that I should find out...since I'm a supervisor now. ::)

I just did a pat-down on myself - it was rather pleasant but I don't want no strangers doing that to me unless they take me to dinner and a show after.

To all our sick people - I recommend eleven hours of sleep - it does wonders.  Then give yourself a nice pat-down.

DR elmore - ~~~~~CRUD-BE-GONE VIBES TO YOU~~~~~

I actually think something was/has been going around the past couple of days in NYC. I know a bunch of people - myself included - that have been dealing with IPND - Insidious Post-Nasal Drip. Although, it probably was DR MBarnum's fault anyway. ;)

It seemed like everyone on my plane had it. I'm glad I got over it so fast, before it became the insidious cough.

From Wiki: "The Sherman's first version of the "It's a Small World" song, which was written in the wake of the Cuban Missile Crisis, was played as a low ballad."

I think they mean "slow" ballad. Somewhere (bk? This site?) someone talked about someone performing it at a slow tempo recently and how beautiful it was.

George enjoy your emergency leave.

Thanks!  I will!  We get 16 hours of emergency leave per year...non-cumulative.  If it doesn't get used, it doesn't carry over to the next year.  Emergency leave can only be used when the building is closed by the admin.  We also get 16 hours of inclement weather leave (also non-cumulative), to be used whenever we feel that it's necessary.

How is the snow down there, George?

The snowing had slowed by the time I left work.  The local news said that the snow was slowing but the winds are increasing.  It's also supposed to be a little colder tomorrow than it was today. :P

Well... I'm tired... And even though I'm not dealing with any post-nasal drip right now, I am dealing with a bit of sinus pressure... So...

Goodnight.

Favorite Sherman Brothers soundtrack: THE HAPPIEST MILLIONAIRE

Given "Mary Poppins" and "The Slipper and the Rose", all I can say is....

..."Why?"
