SO, I had a greast idea.... I love left overs and the smell of Turkey roasting....so I just called the grocery store and they had a fresh turkey.  I'm going to get it cut in half and I'll freeze half and roast the other half tomorrow.  I can make stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberries and all the foods I love.  It will be better than sitting alone at a table in a restaurant

That's a great idea!

DR Cillaliz - I, too, am looking forward to watching the parade without having to do so from the kitchen.  And I actually am looking forward to going to dinner at The Grand Finale in Cincinnati with Richard and my mother.  On Saturday, Mom's 92nd birthday, we're going to roast a turkey breast and do some trimmings in order to acquire some leftovers.

I watched a couple of episodes of the Lisa Kudrow show from a couple of years back.....it is now on Sundance Channel.....

Brilliant is the only word I can use......Kudrow is so good.....the writing is great.....and the television background seems to be very authentic.....

It is my new favorite show.

I thought Carol Burnett was pretty much a loss leader on GLEE last night.....although the wedding scenes with Kurt's dad and Finn's mother were very sweet.  Hate the acting of Chris Colfer and the weird way he uses his face when he talks and sings....can't watch it.....so I just look away.

Although, I guess, in a sense, I could use a Word of the Day.

I have been sitting at the computer long enough with the bank (money landed this morning!), eBay, and HHW. I think it's time to get to work on BALLET BALLADS. I'll check in later.

BK, I told you to fire that reed player!

My question for ASK BK day......what television show or movie.....do you think most accurately portrays the current state of Hollywood and/or television?

DR JRand - I love(d) "The Comeback". The DVD set is well-worth the very modest investment.

Have you caught any of her "Web Therapy" webisodes? They're kind of hit-or-miss for me, but when they hit, they hit big.

Very cold in PDX.  We've discovered that the condensation on these hi-tech Milgard windows is pretty incredible, strangely enough.

That is actually very astute.  :)  Both the word and the opera are linked to the King.

It's a half day at the office and then a trip to Long Island for the weekend.

We will be back either Saturday or Sunday. We haven't decided yet.

Have a wonderful time on the Isle of Long, DR Ben and your ever-lovin' Ant.

I'm awake.  No work today!!  My cousin Melinda and her BF are coming over to see the house, which they've never seen and we've been here 2 years now.  I need to go work on some sort of foodstuff to offer them.  Something like a white bean dip I would think.

bk, loved the notes.  Each time your reminisce about that time, something new comes out, or maybe it's your frame of mind when you write it, I don't know.

Does this mean you can't do anything with the Sherman Bros CD?
