DR td, BEST WISHES ALL GOES WELL TOMORROW!!!

Will your Mum make the trip with you or is it too far?

No, she's gonna hold down the fort at home, sitting and waiting on pins and needles.
We're expecting heavy rains tomorrow. . . .but, the worst should happen before I get home.
I do have a cousin riding along with me, to control Molly on the long, ride home.

Had a wonderful rehearsal - little Lucy Taylor really socks home here song, I must say.  Then I went and had a sandwich and fries and now I'm going to sit on my couch like so much fish.

DR Jane - I'm only about 30 pages into THE LACUNA.  I'm reading a hardcover and tend not to carry it around much.  I've only been reading it before I go to sleep at night.  It has begun to grab me, so I think it will begin to hold my interest better as it goes along.

Jose do you have any natural black licorice?  I find letting it slowly dissolve helps.  Don't eat anymore tonight before going to bed.  Oh, some say drinking water helps, unfortunately not for me.

DR Jane - No licorice in the house, however, I did have some Tums - which really didn't have any effect. However, I haven't had anything to eat since 7:00, so, hopefully, that will help me sleep last night. -And, of course, I'm now realizing that the coughing fits of the past two nights have been caused by the acid reflux and not post-nasal drip.

DR JMK - Here's some LIFE for ya'!

Caliente, Caliente

*I'm pretty sure DR MBarnum will like that clip too. ;)

The song, and the singer, were fun....but a couple of those dancers were scary.

We were intrigued by this menu item.

Well, I guess that's one way to prevent the whipped cream from deflating on your piece of to-go pie.

Unless that clip is pretty old, they all look too young for MBarnum.

DR TCB - Well, they're all probably just the right age now for DR MBarnum.

HAPPY FURLOUGH DAY TO ME!

Well, OK, if you're feeling that blue about it.

Trust me, I am.
I don't doubt it.

Meeting and adoption to take place tomorrow.  She is one year old.  House trained.  Siberian Husky + German Shepherd mix.

To quote the website:
Quote
Molly was adopted and returned and we have learned that she has to be in a home where she is not alone as she gets anxious so a stay at home person would be good. Molly is very friendly and loves everyone. She has a lot of energy and needs exercise and a fenced in yard would be wonderful for her. While Molly likes people and children she wants to be the only pets so no other dogs or cats please. Molly is house trained.

She sounds great.

That sounds promising. Are you hoping to find an animal for yourself?

We have been approved to adopt Miss Molly:

Who will henceforth be known as Miss Molly Brown.

She's beautiful.

Laura, I loved Spats on Spots.

I hope Kerry got that extra bottle of whipped cream before the dinosaur got him.

Yes, DR Jane, I read In a Gilded Cage in March 2009 (according to the list I keep), but I don't remember much about the plot.

You remind me of my mom, except instead of a list she writes the date in the front of the book so if she picks it up again, she knows she read it.   Of course this doesn't apply of she's in the bookstore and buys a book she's already read

No TSA stories, Elmore?

TSA? Which means?

Did you get felt up at the airport?

If I recall correctly, I reported that US Air is not yet using the new security scans when I arrived in Ohio last Sunday. I therefore have no stories to relate. If it means a good grope, I'm all for it.

Gee, I guess I am offending everyone tonight!

Man, I feel left out, you haven't offended ME yet!

Sold a box of books today. Now, if I could do that with, say, 15 more boxes, I might get some extra room in here.

Watched the first forty minutes of the new Blu and Ray of Peeping Tom.  Have to finish it tomorrow night, though.

Watching the new "Robin Hood" and finding it deadly dull. Only five more hours left. Oh, wait, just 20 minutes. Seems about the same.
