DR John G, thank you for the recipe.  Have you tried it?  I've read conflicting comments regarding egg substitute.  We have ground flax in the house I would add.
Only in how it affects the flavor. But I like the flavor of flax. If you have whole flaxseed, toast some and sprinkle on top. Makes it a little nuttier.

I have not tried it in this context.
I don't think Craig likes the flavor of the artificial eggs.  I'll have to verify that fact.
The toasted flax must be a bit like the toasted sesame seed we normally use.

The flax and the water slurry is all you need to replace the egg, so it should taste much better than some Frankenfood egg substitute.

One of Cilla's joke gifts. ;)

I would not hang this up to look at every day of the year.

This is my nephew.

He co-owns, manages and is "the face of" a very successful jewelry store in WI.

I guess, for Easter, he dresses up in a bunny suit.

Congrats, bk. on your show last night.

Does anyone know how to get a copy of "A Hollywood Christmas" - I have the Broadway Christmas CD.  Amazon has something that is out of print, but I'm not sure it's bk's.

DR Matthew, here's the cover:

It's been a pretty good day running hither and yon, but I am happy to be home and on to other jobs. I'm ready to finish up the work on BROADWAY BALLADS this evening.

Miss Molly turned around three times in the kitchen, plopped down and promptly fell asleep for a fifteen minute nap.

Now she's active again. . .:)

MR BK - which comment of Mr Vilanch and Mr Graae got the BIGGEST audience response.....and which did you find most amusing in rehearsal or in the show.

The Spiderman reference got a huge laugh - don't remember exactly what it was.  And then there was a really long volley about Jason being Hollywood and Bruce being West Hollywood, and how the gay Celebration Theater was across the street, and how the gay club The Zone was nearby - then Bruce said "That's where you parked - in the rear."  And that led to a series of jokes that you'll just have to imagine but that were howlers each and every one.

On Black Friday I ordered the blu-ray of Mad Men season three for 9.99 - couldn't refuse.  At least that's what I thought I ordered, but what arrived on Monday was the DVD set.  I wrote them and they said they'd send the correct item and they sent me a shipping label to send back the other, which I did on Tuesday.  Today the replacement arrived - another DVD set.  What kind of brain power is at work there, I wonder.  I just talked to Manila and though it took finally getting REALLY loud and strong, I'm sending this DVD set back, getting a full credit, then they're giving me a twenty dollar credit towards the CURRENT price of 29.99, so that I get it for 9.99.

Had a nice lunch meeting with Doug Haverty and Adryan Russ.  We'll be reissuing their show, Inside Out, on CD with some fun bonus material and better sound.  The off-B'way cast was pretty terrific, and a couple of them have become very well known, so I think we'll do fine with it.

I drove to the upscale mall on the northeast side of Cincinnati to meet a friend for lunch and then I browsed a few stores before heading to the butcher shop near my mom's.  Shopped for her and for our dinner and stopped and visited Mom for a while.  Stopped at Kohl's to buy us a new toaster oven, came home and fixed dinner, and now I'm ready to crash in front of the TV.
