Sutton Foster and Joel Grey in ANYTHING GOES? Isn't someone the wrong age for  that show?

He's playing Moonface, I believe.

Now, that is a relief!

I've caught up on today's posts, I've read the notes for the past few days, but I don't have the patience to catch up with the posts.  I'm sitting in a Starbucks doing email and listening to a geltoob of POTO with one Rebecca Luker as Christine and waiting for my next event (a penance service at 7:00) It's a lovely recording.   At home I have 2 Krtizerland titles to upload into iTunes as well as bk's "Hollywood Christmas" that came in the mail also.

That's all I have

Since the folks on DataLounge say I write a parody at the appearance of the smallest story on Playbill. I couldn't disappoint them :)

Since Sutton Foster and Joel Grey will be doing FRIENDSHIP together in this version of ANYTHING GOES, this can be sung to the tune of FRIENDSHIP:

[SUTTON]
If you ever stage a play, just get Grey
If you ever write a show, let him know
If you ever have a scene that you want stole,
call on Joel

Love his fan-base, fan-base,
His who-cares-if-they-pan base,
When other fan-bases run away
His is here to stay!
(Give a wilkommen and bienvenu)

[JOEL]
If want them all to cheer, Sutton’s here
If you want them to applaud, call that broad
If it’s hokey and the writers need a pal,
Call this gal

Her fan-base, fan-base,
It’s no also-ran-base,
When other fan-bases give you hell
Hers is always swell!
(Give her, give her that thing called love)

[BOTH]
Your fan-base, fan-base
I am in your fan-base
Where other fan-bases ain’t much fun
Ours will make us run

[JOEL]
It’s “astonishing” what she can do

[SUTTON]
Another wilkommen and bienvenu

[to themselves]
I have gotta steal this scene from you.

Very funny.  I will sleep better tonight knowing that they will not be playing lovers.

And since when does the woman playing Lucy (not that Lucy, Jrand) get top billing over the title actor in DRACULA?

I've been told by paypal that the jerk seller who refuses to communicate has initiated a refund - great.  Only I wanted the item - I talked to paypal and all I could find out is that he called them and initiated the refund, which will be in my account on Wednesday.  No reasons, no excuses, no nothing.  My feeling is someone else got to him and offered more, or he didn't have the item at all.
