Thanks, Jane. It's pretty serious. He may lose a lung due to Valley Fever.

I never heard of Valley Fever until four years ago.  It is scary!!!!  I hope they can save his lung!!!

I plan on sending The 12 Pains of Christmas, the baby stuck behind the couch, Stealth Cat, and whatever I can remember that I thought was funny.

Is the governor taking a pay cut as well?

She asked that the raises that she and the other elected officials will receive, should also be cut by 3%.  Somehow getting 3% less of your raise is not quite the same as haivng your current salary cut.

An example of why it is getting more difficult to find jobs to apply to let along get.

I was just watching a story on the News about the elderly woman in Salem, Oregon who lived in one of the homes that was hit by yesterday's tornado.  It was very sad.  Her whole life is inside that home, which she can no longer enter, because it has been condemned.  She was supposed to have open heart surgery this morning, but she can't go anywhere until they have closed off the broken windows and secured the property.

Merry Christmas!
