Well, you've read the notes, the notes were READ-NOSED, and now it is time for you to post until the red-nosed cows come home.

I'll second that,

And I even went back to reread WRITERS BLOCK and REWIND.

I especially enjoy Writers Block. It's the "Inception" of mysteries. A mstery within a mystery within a mystery. However Writer's Block came first.

Since it probably wouldn't be right to count my own book, I would have to concur:

Tuesday morning greetings!  It's a little drizzly here in SW Ohio - let's hope the temps stay above freezing because Richard and I have to drive to Cincinnati this afternoon/evening for a going away dinner for a clergy colleague and his wife.  They're moving to South Carolina.

Morning all.

I went back to bed and slept for another 3 hours and now I'm eating a toasted English Muffin (I stopped eating them years ago) with grape jelly, some apple sauce and some apple juice.

According to my Itunes I have 295 different holiday songs. The top three songs with the most recordings. Followed by my favorite recordings

1) Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas (11) (Judy Garland
2) Silent Night (8) (don't have one)
3) The Christmas Song (7) (Brent Barrett for its simplicity)
3) I'll Be Home For Christmas (7) (Nancy LaMott)
3) White Chritmas (7) (Bing Crosby even if the verse has been omitted)

Yes today is the winter solstice, a full moon, the last WISHING moon of 2010 (use it wisely) - and we also have a lunar eclipse.

Expect, as Vera Charles says:  "Madness!"

Good morning, all! I slept late, mainly because of the Nyquil, with more peculiar dreams. The last one involved a reading of some music and getting the orchestar materials assembled but I have no memory now of what it could have been.

Today I have a day at Toyland with Curtis and Skip Kennon. Following that, I do believe I will stop at Laytner's and purchase for myself a new down comforter. I've been wanting one for my bed fortwo years and they're having a really good sale at the moment.

Following that, I will return here and tidy up the place. I may wrap the few gifts I have left in the apartment so I don't have to worry about that on Friday.

They are not releasing any more info about the Spidey accident - which doesn't seem like good news to me.

DR ELMORE - the Mouseketeer book interested me except most people seem to think it was cobbled together from already published info.....so unless it has new pics of Annette or recent interviews with Darlene and Lonnie....I didn't need it.

It certainly takes info from other sources, but I don't think the book is nothing more than that. It's my memory that Annette, because of her health, would/could not be interviewed, but my memory is that the author spoke to many of the Mouseketeers. I could be wrong, because I'm neither a huge nostalgia fan about the subject and because this is the first book I've read on the folk today. Thelast book on the MM Club seems to have been one written in the 1970s so there's a lot of water over the dam since then.  I enjoyed the book but I like the Thompson bio much much more.

That book from the 70's was called Forever Hold Your Banner High and it was most interesting.

Yes a LOT of water.....Darlene is in the slammer for a long term right now.

Been up for a while.  For being on vacation, it's too early.  Listening to many different versions of "When a Child is Born" at the moment.  They are all wonderful - but the Michael Ball/Claire Moore version for the late 80's is the best.
