Although I can't imagine anyone would KNOWINGLY allow a performer to do anything life threatening - I guess the assurances are just a bit hollow right now.

Message to theatre folks - YOU CAN'T DO CGI ON BROADWAY, THAT'S WHAT MOVIES ARE FOR!

The weather in Chicago is good for flying as is the weather in Salt Lake City, yet Bryan & Kate's Delta flight has been canceled.  The connecting flight in Utah is still flying.  It seems Delta doesn't have a plane.  Bryan & Kate have been rescheduled for tomorrow on an earlier flight that leaves them with a three hour delay in Utah so we still have to pick them up at 11:00PM.

I am not a happy camper.  In the good old days they would have been put on a competing airline since it is the airlines fault.

They have more than enough time to visit my father's museum AND to buy a box of Dunford Chocolate Donuts for Betsy and me.  :)

I'm sorry, but I believe that the Spiderman show should absolutely stop. Way too many people are getting hurt. It can't possibly be worth it.

I saw the video of what happened (I think it was on the NY Times website. Between that and the medical professional who was at the show (and who wrote about it) it didn't sound like the injury was that severe. Hopefully the guy will be fine.

I think it's probably good that they stop it and try to make it safer.

Sorry if I have any typos. I taped my middle finger to my index finger because it was hurting when I put pressure on it. It is very odd to type without that finger.

Did anybody who watches Survivor read about the Jane/Sash situation that was edited out of the show?

DR Jennifer, no one falls 30 feet to a hardwood floor without suffering some injuries I doubt he will be fine for some time. He is currently in serious condition, according to this:

So sorry to hear about Marcia - she was a delightfully delightful person - only worked with her once, on the Night Of The Hunter recording but she was great.

Try typing with one finger, one handed as I have had to do way too often. ;)

Vibes your finger feels better tomorrow!!

I'm sorry, but that article said that a dancer broke BOTH wrists, and another actress was injured. Now someone has fallen 30 feet. 30 FEET. All before the official opening. The special effects are too dangerous.

I know someone who fell about 30 feet -- while trimming a palm tree (his safety equipment failed). I would not say that he was not hurt too bad. He still suffers. Five years later.

What is this thing...how you say....diet?
I think it's a French word. So, that means it comes with extra butter.

I'm feeling better with each passing day. I'm eating lots of boiled chicken with white rice and broth. Today after checking the diet list I had creamy peanut butter (I'm a chunky PB man) on a toasted English muffin (no fiber in those English muffins) with some grape jelly. Tastes good to me!

We may go out to Long Island on Friday morning for a quiet Christmas celebration. As I said, I'm feeling better each day and since I haven't really been out of the house or hospital since last Tuesday it would be nice to get out for some (cold) fresh air and different surroundings and Rose (Ant's mom) would love the chance to take care of me for a couple of days.

We shall see.

I'm going to have to dig up my copy of "Rags" and give it a listen. Always enjoyed her on "Two Sunny Rooms."

The driveway is clear!

DR MBARNUM maybe HIGH POWERED RIFLE will show up someday.

I am keeping my fingers crossed...at least a couple of the Netflix streaming films if have spotted have been late 50s/early 60s 20 Century Fox/Regalscopes!!

And if they are showing LURE OF THE SWAMP, then can HIGH POWERED RIFLE be far behind?

For real. :)

Morning all.

I went back to bed and slept for another 3 hours and now I'm eating a toasted English Muffin (I stopped eating them years ago) with grape jelly, some apple sauce and some apple juice.

I hope it isn't the same muffin.
