Good grief!  Is today really Sunday?  I am so confused.

Me too. I had to remind myself while I was out last night that it was only Saturday by saying, "It's Saturday, it's Saturday," out loud every once and a while. Alas, I think that just made some of the people I was with think that I was "confused". ;)

Hi all.   I can't believe my 11 days off are almost over.  I was so looking forward to them and they went so fast.  Sigh.

I think I will just post photos from photo bucket now that I have that down.  You can do a search for photos from there as well like:

So that works for me!

DR Jose, I hope you have a wonderful cruise.

And I wish I was going to see POTO in Vegas, DR Matthew.  I've never been there before but I hear that it is cheep.  Maybe later this years I can go.

I won a free dance lesson years ago.  I went and it was fun but I couldn't afford to go on with it.

I had to do a few dances when I was doing plays but wasn't center stage by any means.  I was one of the background people  while the people who really were dancers were out in front.

I hope to! We are set now for this afternoon's showing of TRUE GRIT. I ordered the METROPOLIS CASE, and I was telling Charlotte about it. If I like it, I'll send her a copy. She loved Pete Hamill's wonderful FOREVER and she's currently reading a book that takes place today and in 1680 in Salem, MA. Sounds witchy!

DR Jose, it is amazing how large the locker rooms at the YMCA are! And the men's locker room has both a steam room and a enclosed hot tub.

JRand, I highly recommend joing Netflix, getting the Apple TV attachment and watching away! You would not regret it, and it is all very inexpensive.

Actually, since you have a Blue Ray machine you probably don't even need the Apple TV thing...you can stream Netflix movies and tv shows already...just join Netflix for 9 bucks a month and have tons of stuff at your fingertips....new and old.

Thank you, DR MBarnum.  It feels good to be back with all of my friends.  I guess I really was worn out and needed this time off from work to recharge myself.

Danise recharging is important, try doing it more often if only on a Sunday here and there.

I should be shaking my head in disbelief right now, DR MBarnum. Instead, I'm truly laughing out loud.

Danise recharging is important, try doing it more often if only on a Sunday here and there.

That was one thing my doctor told me.  He wanted me to take about 3 or 4 weeks off but I couldn't do that considering how work is right now.

However, I went almost a whole year without taking any vacation time off.    I get 3 weeks vacation a year now so once things settle down, I will be taking a week off every few months.  It's not right the way they are torturing us by saying there is going to be a big lay off then saying no but for certain 3 months from now.  It pulls you down.

That's why I hate going to work now.  Instead of it being laid back, everyone is so touchy.  There is a lot of back stabbing going on--trying to make others look bad.  People you thought were friends turning on you.  It's horrible.  Like a battlefield or chess game where you have to watch every move you make.

Your scared if you make any little mistake or something comes back to you because your afraid they are looking at you to get rid of you if that big layoff comes about.

With everything I have been through these past couple of years with losing Mom, then Bear, then the things I went through with Turner, now this, I'm stress city.

I just hope this little bit of down time will keep me calm until after the next lay off date comes and goes in March.  By then I'll need another good week off.

Mr BK have you seen this book?

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0738581321/ref=s9_simh_co_p14_d0_i3?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=left-3&pf_rd_r=07S221BGXKDBFJDZ16SA&pf_rd_t=3201&pf_rd_p=1280661842&pf_rd_i=typ01

I have to look, but I think so - I have several books from that publisher - most if not all of the photos come from my pal Marc Wanamaker.

I had an incredible night's sleep and I am now up.  I think maybe I'll go do the field trip in a few minutes, then come back and do whatever writing I'm going to do.

It looks like it might have drizzled during the night.  It's still very gray out so I don't know about a jog - we shall see.

Allergies must be bothering me. Can't focus. Slept a lot but not necessarily quality sleep.

DR Elmore, maybe your dream is telling you to do Call Me, Mister or This Is the Army at Goodspeed. Or maybe just to date a platoon.

DR John G - Didn't you mean to place the word "date" in "quotes"? ;)

Well...

I will say that with the number of Formal and Semi-Formal nights on this cruise, it has made it much easier to pack for my trip.  Of course, I only have one tuxedo, one tux shirt, and one suit jacket, so...

Now I just to find my cufflinks and studs.

I got a hilarious book this Christmas called "Free Brown 'Eggs' " and it's all about misusing quote marks on signs and in programs. You know, things like "Jesus" Saves or Now "Hiring." So, now I'm scared to use quotes on anything.
