No one has responded to my question regarding facebook.  I still can't connect to it.
I have had no problems with Facebook today. With other people, yes. Not Facebook.

Good timing on the responses.  As Keith walked by I told him I'm the only one not connecting.  My computer wasn't even recognizing FB.  He eventually had to remove AVG & will replace it with something else tomorrow morning.

Bk, this mysterious place that you went to for your resarch today wouldn't happen to be at 8152 Sunset Boulevard?

You mean yesterday's field trip?  8152 is a McDonald's near the Chateau Marmont - but no, my research was really confined to Hollywood proper, as I had to keep the crime in the Hollywood police's jurisdiction.

Damn!  I thought I had it figured out.  I have always thought that the Garden of Allah would the perfect place for a fictional murder.!

No one has responded to my question regarding facebook.  I still can't connect to it.

I was on it for about a half hour, and it was working fine.

The opening sketch for the Shoestring Revue featured a theatrical company trying to stage an opening with meaning and depth. The song they had was titled "Man's Inhumanity to Man." The setting was coal mine in which miners had been trapped supposedly for years. The set and lighting designers were told "only one chandelier -- it's that kind of a coal mine." Well, that's been my phrase for today: "It's that kind of a coal mine."

I went upstairs and Callie was pretty mellow in her room.  I offered her food, but she didn't seem to want any, so I took it away for the evening, took her water and shut the door.  I don't like to shut her in there, but it's the only way to keep her away from food for the night.   It is her favorite room and where she usually sleeps, so it should be ok

Well, I had a shock at the pharmacy today when 4 prescriptions that a month ago cost me less than $50, today cost me $130.  I suspect it has something to do with the new year and changes in the prescription coverage attached to my health insurance, but I'm certainly going to make a phone call tomorrow to investigate.

The pharmacy clerk was especially unhelpful and indifferent.

I think I would keep the HGTV Dream House.  I figure that during ski season I could rent out space in the bunk house to single college guys.  For my own safety, I would probaly have to install video cameras in the bunk house and the showers.

I would have asked to speak to the pharmacist.  It may just be the changes in the benefit year, but you have a right to know why the change was so drastic.

Yeah, DR TCB, I'm also thinking about going back tomorrow with last month's and this month's paperwork.  These are the meds prescribed after my heart attack, so I'm not going to stop taking them.  But I agree the explanation was most unsatisfactory.

And eight legs.

The caption mentioned a nice bed so I opened the photo expecting a nice bed under the pup-lol.  Sherlock needs a new bed, one big enough for him to fit on.

Do you have a deduction to meet?  We do and the prices go way up after the first of the year.  My Forteo is so expensive it will almost meet my high deductible with one prescription.

I'm on my way to sup with the helper's best friend, after which I shall return and write a few more pages.  I've done five so far, which is fine, actually, but I wouldn't mind doing another two or three so I can get to the end of chapter two.

Ginny, I had a prescription filled last week. I mentioned to the pharmacist that the price had gone up (about $10). His response: "Just wait until after January 1."

That is why I am so grateful that I have a Flex plan.  All thsoe medical deductions, right after Christmas, would just about kill me without the Flex.

Yes, DR Jane, I think it's a deductible, but I want to find out for sure.
