What I reported was what I read on TalkinBroadway:

http://www.talkinbroadway.com/allthatchat/d.php?id=1936780

Sad.  I was hoping your info might be in error, doesn't look like it.  I suppose the official date could be at Wikipedia reported.

Sherlock needs to go to the vet soon.  He has been biting a spot on his hip on and off for awhile as if he had a major itch.  We couldn't find anything there until this morning when I noticed the area is very red.  I don't know if we missed something or it is red from him irritating it.  Either way we shall see if the vet can explain it.  Something to spray the area would be good.  We hope it doesn't need to be shaved.

Interesting how an animal knows that they are going to the vet

TOD:

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.........

Probably TITANIC 1953 because I like ALL of the performances, and though HIGHLY inaccurate, still a good story with some good performances.

it is certainly an improvement over the remake.

Hi all!

Well, I made it back to work. I wonder sometimes if that is a sick building.  I am so tired tonight.  It's like I never left.

My dogs also know when they are going to vet long before we even get there.  They are so smart!

I hope DR Jose has a wonderful time on the ship.  I'm looking forward to hearing all about it.

The vet called a little while ago.  Callie's blood work is good.  Her calcium levels are a bit high, but nothing to worry about. The vet is totally convinced that the lump on her lip is normal as she has one on the other side and she doesn't think a biopsy is necessary unless it really starts to grow.  It isn't THAT big.  I'm thinking maybe the catsitter irritated it with the way she gives Cal her meds.

They were in the middle of cleaning her teeth when the vet called.  She didn't think she needed any pulled, but wanted the ok in case she did.  I'm feeling a bit relieved.
I'm glad that the bump on Callies lip is ok.  Ever since Bear had that bump that proved to be cancer I get very afraid when I hear about one.

I'm getting my teeth cleaned next Monday.

I have it on good authority that if you growl and lunge at them, they will let you go home.

It worked for me with the Draft Board.

You need a kennel that opens on top or comes apart.

Sad about Jill Haworth. I remember seeing her in lots of British horror films when I was a kid.

Yet another connection with Sal Mineo.

The original plan was to take the nice kitty out of the kennel and give whatever anesthesia they gave Callie. Only Joshie had no intention of being removed from the kennel. I believe they used the word "lunged."

Oh, Joshie, so funny. Sorry Laura.

Ok, time to go for a walk on the treadmill.   I walked 20 minutes in my shape up sneakers and man could I feel it.  Time to do my walk for today then do some work.

DR TCB--you crack me up!

Here's something: Is anyone familiar with Ramin Karimloo?  He's the Iranian-born Canadian actor/singer who played the Phantom on the West End and is now in the sequel Love Never Dies.  Here he is on the Michael Ball Show singing his big number from the show:

T.O.D.

I suppose this isn't strictly kosher (LOL), but probably Franco Zeffirelli's JESUS OF NAZARETH.

Naturally, I get more movie for my money (about 380 minutes uncut), but it is a film that I watch over and over; not only for the story but because of the incredible cast of actors used in the film.  Every time I watch it, I see some small thing that I previously missed.  For instance, Robert Powell who plays Jesus, blinks only once during the entire film, the boy playing young Jesus, only twice.

Sorry, my island - my movie!

The "kennel" was their cage in the back. She didn't have any trouble taking him out of our carrier to put him in the cage, but he had no intention of being removed from their cage.

Well, he isn't as hot as Danise's boyfriend Michael Ball, but that is certainly the best song I have heard from the show.

Never dogs but the cats would often hide BEFORE I got the cat carrier out.

Back from a nice dinner with my grantwriter friends.  Rob had a few good stories from his first day of firefighter training and now we're watching the Sugar Bowl.  If he's lucky the Arkansas quarterback might get to beat Ohio State - something he probably couldn't have done had he stayed at Michigan.

And, speaking of Michigan, is Rodriquez in or out?

Those make it easier.  I had one that could be taken apart, had it about 20 years before a vet did that to get the cat out of the carrier.  I was shocked.  ;D

This evening is the first time in a week, that the temperrature has gotten above freezing.  And yet, tonight I feel colder than I have all week.

So, it is Sugar Bowl in bed with the electric blanket.

G'night!
